Helen Elaine Amos

Helen Elaine Amos, 92, of Broken Arrow, Okla., died April 24 at Cedar Crest Care Center in Broken Arrow. She was born May 14, 1920, to William Anthony and Estella Louella Up tha grove Anthony at North Platte, Neb.

Helen was one of seven children. The Anthony family eventually settled in Eureka Springs, Ark., where Helen met Britton Amos. They were married Jan. 20, 1937, and lived in Eureka Springs until 1950, when they moved with their four children to Rogers, Ark. They purchased a house with 10 acres, and raised a total of six children. After the death of her husband in 1991, Helen moved to Broken Arrow, Okla., to be near to her daughters. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and going to the lake. Helen was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Britton Amos; one son, Robert Lee Amos; and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Harold Amos of Rogers and Denny Amos of Broken Arrow; three daughters, Mary Curnutt and Sharon Searcy and David of Broken Arrow, and Connie Baker of Tulsa; eight grandchild­ren; and 10 great-grandchild­ren.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Ruddick Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

Dolores Arlene Gidney

Dolores Arlene Gidney, 89, of Rogers died March 28, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born in Fredonia, Kan., on Dec. 3, 1923, to Ralph and Lillian (Cauble) Criswell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James Newton Gidney, who died in 2004.

Survivors include her son, Steven Gidney of Pea Ridge; and a daughter, Susan Gidney of Rogers.

Inurnment service were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013, in the courtyard columbariu­m at Benton County Memorial Park.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to Circle of Life Hospice or Alzheimer’s Arkansas.

Cremation arrangemen­ts are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.

Faye J. Bigham Hufford

Faye J. Bigham Hufford, 77, of Pea Ridge, died Wednesday, April 3, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 13, 1935, at Cerro Gordo, Okla., to Johnny Joseph Bigham and Annie Laverne Smith.

She moved to the area in 1968 from Joplin, Mo., to make her home. She was a self-employed housekeepe­r and loved to fish, coon hunt, garage sale and people watch. She attended Pea Ridge schools and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James R. Hufford; a son, Ronnie Joe Severs; a brother, David Bigham; and two sisters, Shirley Dalby and Elizabeth Ash.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Patton and husband Wayne of Pea Ridge; a step-son, Steve Hufford of Centerton; a step-daughter, Brenda Cash of Ada, Okla.; a brother, Randy Bigham and wife Carol of Rogers; four sisters, Bernice Drymon, Clara Gibbs and Sharon Severs, all of Rogers and Loretta Griggs and husband Junior of Springdale; 11 grandchild­ren, including Hank Patton and wife Rachel, and Jake Patton; and 17 great-grandchild­ren, including Isaac Patton.

Visitation will be from 57p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Buttram Chapel Cemetery in Pea Ridge with Pastor Bonnie Austin officiatin­g.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Lvada Lea Main

Lvada Lea Main, 75, of Lowell, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonvill­e. She was born Jan. 8, 1938, in Farmington, Ark., to Albert and Trilla Smith Teague.

Lvada retired from Emerson Electric and was a member of the Cave Springs Church of Christ. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds, game shows and antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Clifton Main on Oct. 1, 1985, and two brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Nona Acuff and husband, Stan, of Lowell; one brother, Gene Teague of Jay, Okla.; three sisters, Gratia Erwin of Pea Ridge, Veda Moran of Fayettevil­le and Vera Lee of Lowell; two grandchild­ren, Bran- don Acuff and wife, Margo, and Amy Bell and husband, Owen; and one greatgrand­child, Brayden Acuff.

Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Travis Harbin officiatin­g.

Burial was be in Phillips Cemetery in Lowell.

Bonnie Louise Moore

Bonnie Louise Moore, 74, of Garfield died April 2, 2013.

Survivors include her husband, Delmar Dale Moore Jr.; children, Wanda Prater, Johnny, Jimmy, Larry, Teddy and Carl Howell; two sisters, Loretta and Mildred; several grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

Private services were held at Twelve Corner Cemetery, Garfield.

Funeral arrangemen­ts were by Benton County Funeral Home, Rogers.
