Falkenstein, Ward awarded Who’s Who
RUSSELLVILLE — Two college students from Pea Ridge — Lindsey Falkenstein and Kathryn Ward — have been selected as two of 46 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2013 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Falkenstein has served as president and vice president of Enactus (formerly known as Students In Free Enterprise) and president of Phi Mu sorority at Arkansas Tech.
She was selected to the Tech Homecoming court in 2012, earned a spot on the Dean’s List at Arkansas Tech in multiple semesters and is a member of the Student Alumni Association. Falkenstein was project leader for “Let’s Can Hunger,” an Enactus program that partnered with local businesses for monthly canned food drives.
The daughter of Cheryl and Raymond Falkenstein of Pea Ridge, Falkenstein will graduate from Arkansas Tech with a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing in May 2013.
Ward has served as philanthropy chair, academics chair and vice president for Zeta Tau Alpha at Ar- kansas Tech. She also holds membership in the Student Alumni Association.
A member of the Dean’s List at Arkansas Tech, Ward has tutored international students through the Arkansas Tech English Language Institute.
The daughter of Cynthia and Rick Ward of Pea Ridge, Ward will graduate from Arkansas Tech in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in international studies.
