Tuesday, June 18
11:30 a.m. A resident on McRae Lane reported that someone had cut her dog’s harness and let it go. She told police this has happened before, as well.
12:10 p.m. A resident on Eagle Crest requested a civil standby; police told him a court order from a judge is required for a civil standby.
1:46 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported her soon-to-be ex-husband had broken into her house and take property.
7:33 p.m. A resident of Frost Street reported suspicious circumstances involving someone entering his house.
7:58 p.m. A resident on Zachary Street reported catching a stray dog; police took the dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
Wednesday, June 19
1:15 a.m. A resident on John W. Mont- gomery Circle reported her 15-year-old daughter and two friends were staying overnight at another residence on John W. Montgomery Circle and had snuck out. A witness reported seeing a vehicle pick up the girls. Police found the vehicle, an 18-year-old male and four minor-aged girls at the city park on South Harvey Wakefield Street. Several persons ran away. As a result of the investigation, police cited two 15-year-old girls for fleeing and violating curfew and released to their parents.
5:20 p.m. A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of North Curtis Avenue and Pickens Road between vehicles driven by Jennifer A. Bernett, 27, Pea Ridge, and Jamie L. Poindexter, 35, Pea Ridge.
Thursday, June 20
12:15 a.m. Police picked up a stray male black Lab on Oakley Street and took it to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
2:33 p.m. A resident on Weston Street reporting catching two stray dogs which were picked up and taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
3:52 p.m. Police assisted the Pea Ridge Fire Department with unlocking a vehicle in which a baby had inadvertently been left. The child was in good health with no injuries.
3:42 p.m. Police were dispatched to an area of South Curtis Avenue to investigate a report of a female who had gotten out of a moving vehicle and was almost hit by another vehicle while crossing the street. As a result of the investigation, Erica Lyn Weldon, 30, Springdale, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
5:55 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested the passenger David Arasmith, 28, Pea Ridge, on a Bella Vista warrant, and impounded the vehicle because the driver did not have proof of ownership and did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver, Charles Green, 37, Rogers, was cited for no driver’s license, fictitious vehicle license and failure to register.
8:20 p.m. While checking on vacant property, police found a motor home in front of an abandoned house. The residents of the camper were warned that they were trespassing as they did not have permission from the property owner to camp there.
Friday, June 21
9:50 a.m. As a result of an investigation initiated because of observing a customer at a local business who was apparently impaired while driving, police arrested Patricia Davis, 54, Pea Ridge, for DWI and refusal to submit to tests.
7:37 p.m. A resident on St. Clair Street reported a former boyfriend had text-ed her that he was coming to her house and she was frightened. Police reported
the no contact order had expired; extra patrols were performed throughout the night.
9 p.m. Police assisted fire/ambulance personnel with a medical emergency for a driver of a vehicle in the bank parking lot.
Saturday, June 22
12:16 a.m. A resident of Hickory Street reported he found a white male sitting inside one of his vehicles and ran him off. The suspect apparently took a pack of cigarettes, but dropped them when running away. Police were unable to locate him.
11:11 p.m. A resident of North Davis Street reported she left her wallet on a counter while at Subway and when she returned for it, it was gone.
11:23 p.m. Police assisted a deputy with the Benton County Sheriff ’s Office on a traffic stop on It’ll Do Road.
Sunday, June 23
12:30 p.m. A female resident of West Pickens Road went to the Police Station with an 8-year-old child who she told police was unruly and was hitting, biting and wouldn’t put on her seat belt. Police talked to the child about seat belt safety.
Monday, June 24
5:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Cody R. Barrios, 19, Pea Ridge, for driving while license suspended and one for failing to yield to emergency vehicle.
