Tuesday, July 23

8:10 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of North Ark. Hwy. 94 in reference to a male in the road. The caller reported that the man sat in the middle of the lane when a car comes. When police arrived, the male was stumbling around in the middle of the southbound lane. He was outside the city limits. The dispatcher said all deputies were busy and could not come to the scene. Police arrested Matt Shaner, 35, Bella Vista, for public intoxicati­on.

9:11 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Easterling Road for a disturbanc­e to assist BCSO. Joshua Connors, 26, Pea Ridge, was arrested for thirddegre­e assault on a family or household member.

Wednesday, July 24

11 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Brandi Baker, 26, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver’s license and on a warrant from Bella Vista; she was released to Bella Vista Police.

11 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Danielle Corshia, 29, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substances, driving on a suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance and no proof of registrati­on.

7:51 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported harassing communicat­ions from a man who worked for two hours for the company she and her husband own. Police contacted the man who agreed not to contact them again.

11:06 p.m. Police were dispatched to Mercy Hospital for an animal bite. The mother of a 12-year-old child boy said he had been bitten by a Pit Bull at the intersecti­on of Hays and Carr streets while he was riding his skate board. The youth had to have stitches. Police contacted the owner of the dog, who said the dog was current on his shots. The dog was being walked on a leash by a young girl when it pulled away and attacked the male.

Thursday, July 25

2:22 a.m. While on patrol, police saw two people walking along Oakley Street. A 15-year-old girl was taken to her residence on Chitwood Street and given a warning for violation of the curfew ordinance.

4:40 p.m. An employee at EZ Mart reported finding a small bag in the parking lot containing syringes and a tourniquet. The items were placed into evidence.

6 p.m. A resident of John W. Montgomery Circle reported finding a laptop bag and laptop on his property. Investigat­ion revealed the computer was stolen out of Bella Vista. Bella Vista Police said they would pick it up.

Friday, July 26

9:07 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Park Circle to assist a probation/parole officer who had a subject in custody. The ambulance was also dispatched. Christophe­r Michael Watkins, 32, Pea Ridge, was arrested and transporte­d to the jail by Pea Ridge Police for the parole officer.

9:08 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Slack Street for numerous 911 hang-up calls. The adult male who answered the door said all was fine, but a teen-age girl standing behind him shook her head “no.”Three teens were interviewe­d who said their grandfathe­r is abusive to them. It was determined the residence was in the county; but no deputies were available. Police continued the investigat­ion, contacted the Department of Human Services and forwarded the report to BCSO.

Saturday, July 27

9:20 p.m. Robert Sterling Hanlon, 31, Pea Ridge, was arrested for public intoxicati­on.

10:37 p.m. A resident on Weston Loop reported loud music from a neighborin­g residence. The suspects were contacted and advised to turn down the music.

Monday, July 29

9:54 a.m. Police were notified by dispatched of a reopened fraud case. A resident of Ford Street said he had bought and paid for items on eBay, but not received the items.

4:59 p.m. A resident of West Harris Street reported harassing communicat­ions involving text messages from a male.

7:37 p.m. A resident of Hutchinson Street reported dogs at large. Police issued the dogs’ owner, Melissa Sue Adams, 33, Pea Ridge, a citation for dogs at large and no city dog tags times three.

8:10 p.m. A resident of East Pickens Road reported two bicycles missing. She said the bikes were left outside.
