Ann Marie Ciepiel

Ann Marie Ciepiel, 83, of Bentonvill­e, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at the Bradford House Nursing Home in Bentonvill­e. She was born June 14, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Mary Myslovec and Stanley Peklo.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, playing poker and working puzzles. She had lived in the northwest Arkansas area for more than 10 years after moving from Ohio.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen, and one brother, Stanley.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Maynard Ciepiel, whom she married May 20, 1950; one son, Dennis Ciepiel and his wife, Patricia, of Gilbert, Ariz.; one daughter, Joyce Ciepiel of Pea Ridge; three nieces; five grandchild­ren; and eight great-grandchild­ren.

A celebratio­n of Ann’s life was held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at 203 Northeast Lakeview Terrace, Bentonvill­e.

A private family inurnment will take place at National Cemetery in Fayettevil­le at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the local humane society.

Dovie Ellen Goodrich

Dovie Ellen Blevens Go- odrich, 74, of Garfield, died Aug. 14, 2013, in her home. She was born July 2, 1939, in Fisher, Ark., to of Raymond Isaac and Edith Dixon Blevens.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Goodrich; children, Debra Symons and Mark Goodrich; two sisters, Linda Sanders and Connie Austin; eight grandchild­ren; and one greatgrand­child.

Memorial contributi­ons may be made to Circle of Life Hospice.

Lorraine Hoyt

Lorraine Hoyt, 82, of Garfield died Aug. 15, 2013, in Rogers. She was born July 22, 1931, in South Bend, Ind., to Walter and Sylvia Taylor Miltonberg­er.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandra; and one son, Steve.

Survivors include her husband, Wilfred Hoyt of the home; four sons, Barry, Robert, Mike and Morris Hoyt; three daughters, Peggy Mueller, Nancy Rose and JoAnn Hoyt; two sisters; and many grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

Marie Smith

Marie Smith, 76, of Garfield, died Friday, Aug. 16, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. She was born Aug. 2, 1937, at Garfield, to Cecil Loyd McGinnis and Leora Faye Byler McGinnis.

She was a bank manager for Bank of America before retiring. She was an artist, painting in oils, making stained glass and she enjoyed traveling. She attended First Baptist Church in Garfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alvis Loyd McGinnis.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Smith of the home; a daughter Crystal Grimes and husband Toby of Corinth, Texas; a brother, Marvin McGinnis of Garfield; three sisters, Aleta McGee of Bentonvill­e, Shelby Prim of Garfield and Evelyn Lynch of Tahlequah, Ok.; seven nephews, Loyd McGinnis McKenzie, Eugene Rounds, Wayne Prim, Derrick Lynch, Mark McGinnis, Keiven McGinnis, and Brad McGee; and two nieces, Anita McGinnis Poindexter and Heather Head.

Visitation was 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service.

Service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at First Baptist Church in Garfield with Dr. Derrick Lynch and Ralph Lynch officiatin­g.

Burial was in Ruddick Cemetery.

June Elizabeth Snow

June Elizabeth Snow, 83, of Pea Ridge died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. She was born July 17, 1930, at Oklahoma City to Clyde Roland Overturf and Alice Naomi Horn Overturf.

She married Dub Snow July 22, 1948, and moved to the area in 1966 to make her home. She was an administra­tive secretary for St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers for 28 years. She was a master seamstress making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, bunny rabbits, quilts for her grandchild­ren, wedding dresses for her daughters and Western jackets for Dub. She enjoyed crosstitch, wordsearch and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Kathryn Stapleton.

Survivors include her husband Dub Snow of the home; a son, Marty Snow and wife Patt of Butler, Mo.; two daughters, Nancy Riffell and husband Dave of Anderson, Mo., and Cheryl Nichols of Pea Ridge; nine grandchild­ren; and 17 greatgrand­children.

Visitation was 1-3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Pea Ridge.

Service was at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge with pastors Lynn Brown and Michael Smith officiatin­g.

Burial was in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Janet Marie White

Janet Marie White, 55, of Gravette, Ark., died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Legacy Village Hospice. She was born Oct. 23, 1957, in Wichita, Kan., to Clifford and Mary (Willard) Beehler.

She grew up in DeSoto, Mo., and graduated from high school there. After marriage she lived in a variety of locations due to her husband’s military ser- vice. Her favorite place to live was Hawaii. She was a homemaker and worked for years in several school systems as a teacher’s aide and in before/after-school care.

Mrs. White deeply loved her children and grandchild­ren. Her grandchild­ren were the delight of her life. She enjoyed camping and time with family. In the later months of her life she was under the full-time care of her husband, children and hospice.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Beehler, on March 9, 2013.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, John D. White of the home; three children, James White of Fayettevil­le, Jennifer Figone and husband, Patrick, of Gravette, and Jessica Worrell of Bentonvill­e; four grandchild­ren, Jonathon White, Koral White, Jacob Figone and Joshua Figone; mother, Mary Beehler of Garfield; brother, Scott Beehler and wife, Angie, of Pea Ridge; and sister, Nancy Autry and husband, Curtiss, of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Honorary pallbearer­s included Scott Beehler, Brian Baker, Adrian Vera, Joel Vera and Todd Bumsted.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, 4911 W. Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers.
