Hailey Lynn Bise

Hailey Lynn Bise, 5 months, of Rogers, died Thursday, Jan. 2, at her home. She was born July 23, 2013, in Bentonvill­e to Glen Michael Bise and Nichole Lynn Gilliland.

She was a happy baby who always smiled. She had learned to roll over, was trying to sit up and liked to suck on her two middle fingers.

Survivors include her parents of the home; three brothers, Samuel, Matthew and Jacob Bise of the home; her paternal grandparen­ts, James and Vera Bise of Bentonvill­e; her paternal great-grandfathe­r, Glenn Banks, of Washburn, Mo., paternal great-grandmothe­r Juanita Bass of Cassville, Mo.; and paternal greatgrand­father Bobby Bise of Rogers.

A service is set for 11 a.m Thursday, Jan. 9, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge.

Burial will be at Dent Cemetery.

Laura Helen Dorey

Laura Helen Dorey, 93, of Rogers, died Dec. 27, 2013, at Circle of Life, Bentonvill­e, after a nearly two-year stay at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab Center in Rogers. She was born in Avoca, Ark., on Oct. 28, 1920, to Albert Scudder and Nellie Jane (Davis) Scudder.

She was the mother of four children from a previous marriage.

In her lifetime, beyond being a dedicated homemaker, she was employed by Munsingwea­r in Rogers, which manufactur­ed women’s hosiery, then by Daisy Manufactur­ing in Rogers, who manufactur­es Air Rifles, later to Danny & Debbie in Bentonvill­e, who manufactur­ed children’s clothing.

On Nov. 23, 1956, she married Arthur “Bud” Dorey Jr. in Miami, Okla., and they made their home in Rogers, Ark. She loved to crochet and sew, owning her own business for a short time.

She was a practicing Christian woman, whose primary occupation was being a wonderful wife and dedicated mother to her children. She was an active member of Monte Ne Baptist Church.

She was predecease­d by her first husband, all seven of her brothers and sisters, and a son-in-law, Henry Murphy.

Survivors include her spouse, Bud; her children, Raymond and Marva Brust of Rogers, Ark., Ronald and Ginger Brust of Gerard, Kan., Brenda and Clyde Erwin of Newton, Kan., Karen Murphy of Pea Ridge, Ark.; and a large extended family.

Visitation was 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 Hudson Rd., in Rogers, Ark.

A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at Monte Ne Baptist Church, 1610 Monte Ne Rd., Rogers, with the Rev. Mack Mills officiatin­g.

Burial followed at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan.3, in Tucks Chapel Cemetery.

Kenneth C. Hoyt

Kenneth C. Hoyt, 94, of Rogers died Jan. 2, 2014, at his home. He was born in Salem, Ohio, on April 19, 1919, to Frank and Vesta Hoyt.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

In 1936 he married his high school sweetheart, Della Mae West in Liberty, Ind. They were happily married for 68 years.

The Kenneth Hoyt family moved to Rogers in 1960. He moved to Rog- ers to become the first plant manager of a new division of Deming Pump Corporatio­n. In 1963, he bought Grimm Brooder, a manufactur­er of poultry equipment. Hoyt Corporatio­n was started in 1964, and became a leader in the manufactur­ing water system tanks, poultry equipment and many other diversifie­d products sold throughout the world. He sold Hoyt Corporatio­n in 1978 to Clayton Mark.

He was very active in the Rogers community. He served on the Chamber of Commerce for several years and served as president in 1966-1967. He was also a longtime member of the Rotary Internatio­nal Club and served as president. He was an active member of the First Presbyteri­an Church of Rogers, and served as elder, deacon and a member of the building committee.

Kenneth loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, who loved to travel the country in his motorhome with his wife, Della, and other family members.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Hoyt; wife, Della Mae; his parents; three brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Chaffee and husband, Tuck, of Rogers; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Hoyt, of Rogers; grandsons, Ken Hoyt and wife, Teresa, of Harrison, Kevin Hoyt of Fayettevil­le and Bruce Chaffee and wife, Crystal, of Rogers; granddaugh­ters, Karla Miller and husband, Tom, of Rogers, and Ann Chaffee and Sheila of Rogers; nine great-grandchild­ren, including Zach Hoyt of Pea Ridge; and three greatgreat-grandchild­ren.

A special thank you to his caregivers, Pat Webster, Joyce Still, Janelle Baldridge, Ashley Cunningham, Joyce Hayward, Kim Still and Circle of Life Hospice. They provided wonderful, compassion­ate care to Kenneth.

Visitation was 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m.

Private family burial followed.

Patrick Raymond Kelley

Patrick Raymond Kelley, 69, of Bentonvill­e, formerly of Pea Ridge, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at Bradford House of Bentonvill­e. He was born March 27, 1944, to Elmo and Dorothy Kelley.

He loved the Lord and read his Bible daily. He enjoyed being outdoors and working with his hands.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Thomas Kelley, and his wife Loretta Kelley.

Survivors include two daughters, Laura Kelley, of Pea Ridge, and Jennifer and Jeff Jones of Watts, Okla.; one brother, Michael and Mary Kelley of Katy, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Harris of Alvin, Texas, and Laura and Richard Hagood of Pleasanton, Texas; and four grandchild­ren, Triston, Rebecca, Jonathan and Baleigh.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at The Church at Northwest Arkansas in Bentonvill­e.
