Raymond Joseph Lovatt

Raymond Joseph Lovatt, 69, of Anderson, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. He was born Dec. 10, 1944, in Providence, R.I., to Raymond and Lucille (Barber) Lovatt.

He married the love of his life, Paula Irene Tillett, on March 10, 1980. They moved to Anderson in 1994, coming from Pea Ridge, Ark. He worked at the Walmart Warehouse in Bentonvill­e, Ark., as a shipping clerk. He enjoyed fishing and cherished time spent with his grandchild­ren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Paula Lovatt; and a brother, James Edward Lovatt.

Survivors include eight children, Paula Miller of Bella Vista, Ark., Michael Sammarco of Carl Junction, Mo., Matthew Sammarco of Eucha, Okla., Cathy Teague of Pineville, Mo., Regina Grieve of Bella Vista, Ark., John Lovatt of Rogers, Ark., Raymond Lovatt of Anderson, Mo., and Reatha Christophe­r of Pineville, Mo; siblings, Marie Blum of Gasville, Ark., Joanne Hawk of Tekamah, Neb., Jacquelin Little of Los Angeles, Calif., Barbara Hartsock of Baldwin Park, Calif., Paula Gorans of Beaverton, Ore., John Lovatt of Baldwin Park, Calif., and Francis Lovatt of Baldwin Park, Calif.; 25 grandchild­ren; and 10 great-grandchild­ren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home with pastor Mark Moore officiatin­g.

Burial with full military honors followed the service at the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson, Mo.

Virginia Lee Madrid

Virginia Lee Madrid, 78, of Golden, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at her home. She was born July 7, 1935, at Green Forest, Ark., to Bill W. Albritton and Mary Alice Tipton Albritton.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and embroidery. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Don Madrid in 1993; one son, Freddy Combs Jr. in 1995; and two brothers Leon Albritton and Utah Albritton.

Survivors include a son, Dallas J. Combs of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Ginger L. Combs of Tuscan, Ariz., and Charlotte N. Prince of Lincoln, Ark.; one brother, James Albritton of Payson, Ariz.; and one sister Joyce Field of Golden, Mo.

Cremation was by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Dwayne Arthur Palmer

Dwayne Arthur Palmer, 78, of Pineville, Mo., died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Golden Living Center in Anderson, Mo. He was born Sept. 11, 1935, at Jefferson, Neb., to Fred Palmer and Irene M. Lemar Palmer.

He worked at several poultry processing plants in the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Raylene Hilt; two sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Palmer of the home; three sons, Dwayne Palmer Jr. and wife Mendy of Defiance, Ohio, Wesley Robinson and wife Robin of Seligman, Mo., and Ricky Robinson and wife Jennifer of Pea Ridge; one daughter Sherry Pankau of Pineville; 13 grandchild­ren; and three great-greatgrand­children.

Cremation arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

No service is planned at this time.
