Constance ‘Connie’ Yvonne Tanner Deason
Constance “Connie” Yvonne Tanner Deason, 91, of Evansville, Ind., formally of North Little Rock, died Wednesday, March 5, in Evansville. She was born Oct. 9, 1922, in Cherry Valley, Ark., to Henry Estes Tanner Sr. and Dott Jones Tanner.
She was raised in Cherry Valley and graduated from Cherry Valley High School. In 1942 she moved to Little Rock, Ark., to make her home. She married Marion Clinton Deason Dec. 31, 1947, in First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. She retired from Fort Roots VA Hospital after 30 years where she was a medical secretary. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion in 1999; and one brother, H.E. Tanner Jr.
Survivors include a sister Patsy Tanner of Booneville, Ind.; a nephew, Lawrance O. Lile of Ashland, Mo.; a niece, Caryn Iber of Newburgh, Ind.; a great- nephew, Alex Iber; and two great-nieces, Caitie McKinley and Joy Lile.
Visitation was at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, in Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8.
Burial was in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

George Hnatko
George Hnatko, 92, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville. He was born Sept. 18, 1921, in Monessen, Pa.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Rogers; and many friends.

Ruth Hudson
Ruth Hudson, 70, of Blackwell, Okla., died Monday, March 3, at her home. She was born Nov. 5, 1943, in Calaveras County, Calif., to Oscar Drew Hud- son and Flora Ellen Garnett Hudson.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed playing Bingo, knitting, crocheting, fishing, gardening, flowers, and being with her family, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William P. Hudson in 1993; one son, David Vernon Hudson; and one brother, Donald Hudson.
Survivors include her companion of 35 years, Jerry Arnold of the home; two daughters, Ruthie Antrim and Charlena Arnold, both of Blackwell, Okla.; three sons, Timothy Hudson of Pea Ridge, David Hudson and Jeffrey Arnold both of Blackwell, Okla.; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her constant companion “Ginger.”
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
Services were 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Eastside Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Robert Ward officiating.
Burial was at Dent Cemetery.

Ronald E. Lackey
Ronald E. Lackey, 73, of Rogers, died March 7, 2014, in Rogers. He was born Dec. 2, 1940, in Emporia, Kan., to Albert Earl and Doii E. Morris Lackey.
He served in maintenance and he also served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother and two more brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his four children, Starla Taylor of Fulton, Mo., Linda Lee and Ron Lackey Jr. both of Rogers and Rick Lackey of Garfield; one sister, Wilma Lind of Kansas City, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 9, at Lakeview Baptist Church at Cave Springs with Pastor Johnny Hart officiating.
Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers.

Elva Jean Landauer
Elva “Jean” Landauer, 75, of Garfield, Ark., died Friday, March 7, 2014, in her home after a long illness. She was born on July 23, 1938, in Nekoosa, Wis., to Francis and Elva Olive Giese.
She was baptized on Aug. 21, 1938, and confirmed into the Lutheran faith in 1952. She attended Nekoosa High School and Concordia Teacher’s College in River Forest, Ill., graduating in June 1960. She was wedded to her spouse of 53 years, LeRoy Landauer on June 18, 1960, in Nekoosa, Wis.
Following college, she taught elementary school for seven years, later served as school secretary for two years and then became a homemaker and volunteer.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, reading, gardening, fishing, swimming and volunteering in her community and church. Every Monday, she served the church office at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers. She was a member of the NEBCO (Northeast Fire Department) in Benton County and the New Meadowbrook Extension Club. She tutored for eight years at Garfield School and enjoyed reading with the students. She had a passion for working with young people and seeing them grow and mature.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Elva and an infant son, Douglas.
Jean is survived by her spouse, Lee, who resides in Garfield; two brothers, Gordon and Fritz of Wisconsin; three daughters, Carol Bills (Bradley), of Grand Island, Neb., Susan Dickinson (Martin), of Aurora, Colo., Bonnie Gust (Roger) of Garfield, and seven grandchildren, Glenn, Kurt, Douglas, Aaron, Valerie, Jessica and Zachary. Her husband, Lee, her daughters, and her Savior took care of her and loved her to the end.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, until service time.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers with Pastor Gordon Besel officiating. Cremation followed. Memorial gifts are suggested to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for the Memorial Shed or Children’s Shelter funds.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Circle of Life Hospice and the many friends that loved and supported Jean, both over the years and through her last months.
