Peggy June Hust

Peggy June Hust, 85, of Pea Ridge died March 25, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born March 16, 1929, in Oplin, Texas, to Walter Gidion Fincher and Gorgia Tinnie Harris Fincher.

She moved to Pea Ridge from Oklahoma to make her home. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Earl Hust; and two sons, William Hust Jr. and Michael Hust.

She is survived by a son, Steve Hust and wife Susanne of Rogers; a daughter, Cynthia Waldron of Pea Ridge; two brothers, Claude Fincher of Texas, Walter Fincher of California; two sisters, Ida May Young and Alma Hilton of Casa Grande, Ariz.; nine grandchild­ren, seventeen great-grandchild­ren and two great great-grandchild­ren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge.

Burial will be in Fayettevil­le National Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Olivia Martha Miser

Olivia Martha Miser, 92, of Pea Ridge died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. She was born July 31, 1921, in Pea Ridge to Lee Greene and Eula Williams Greene.

She loved her boys and raised beef cattle for 72 years working hard to keep the farm going after the death of her husband Eugene Miser in 1972. She enjoyed church work, teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers, Alvin, Daryle and Paul Greene.

Survivors include four sons, James Miser of Bentonvill­e, Gene Miser of Pea Ridge, Lyle Miser of Eureka Springs and Larry Miser of Rogers; and two grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at First Baptist Church, Pea Ridge.

Service is set for 11 a.m., Saturday, April 12, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

Burial will be in Buttram Chapel Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Ralph Howard Murphy

Ralph Howard Murphy, 92, of Rogers, Ark., loving and cherished father, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers. He was born Oct. 21, 1921, in Rogers, Ark., to T. O. C. and Pearl Deason Murphy.

His dry sense of humor and quick wit will forever be remembered.

He proudly served in World War II, retired from Tyson Foods and was an active member of Central United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mildred Louise Murphy; his parents; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Ann Lasater of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Barbara Eastep of Ukiah, Calif.; one brother, John D. Murphy of California City, Calif.; three daughters, Sherry Hardie and husband, Andy, Connie Ciskowski and husband, Randy, and Vickie Boyer and husband, Charles, all of Rogers; four grandchild­ren, Scott Hardie and wife, Britten, of Rogers, Ashley Hardie of Rogers, Brandon Ciskowski of Dallas, Texas, and Lea Ciskowski of Baton Rouge, La.; one greatgrand­son, Paydon Hardie of Rogers.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Central United Methodist Church, Rogers, Ark., with the Rev. Jim Keith officiatin­g, with military honors.

Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels of Benton County, 2004 S. 13th St., Rogers, AR 72758; or Central United Methodist Church “Music Program,” 2535 W. New Hope Rd., Rogers, AR 72758.
