Bonnie B. Diesler

Teresa Lynne Cotton

Teresa Lynne Cotton, 55, of Pea Ridge died July 23, 2014, at Northwest Medical in Bentonvill­e. She was born July 10, 1959, in Cassville, Mo., to Kenneth Eugene Solley and Mildred Louise Stephens.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, cooking and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie Cotton of the home; four sons, Chad Cotton and wife Michelle of Cassville, Brad Cotton of Pea Ridge, Ryan Cotton of Springdale and Teddie Cotton and wife Nichole of Seligman, Mo.; a sister, Kathy Jennings and husband Denver of Seligman; and 10 grandchild­ren.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at River of Faith Church in Jacket, Mo.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Bonnie B. Diesler, 80, died July 21, 2014. She was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Sasakwa, Okla., to Jenks and Etta Partain.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Rockport, Texas, Columbian Ladies, and Ocean Wave Square Dancers and had the gift of love.

Survivors include a son, Al Fowler (Kim) of Pea Ridge, Ark.; a daughter, Barbara Parr (Bubba) of Rockport, Texas; a stepson, Patrick Pierce of Tacoma, Wash.; five grandchild­ren, Lindsey Coffman, Laurie Chester, Brandy Murtha, Justin Padgett and Tiffany Parr; 12 great-grandchild­ren and one on the way.

Memorial service was at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas. Burial was private. Arrangemen­ts were by Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Rockport, Texas.

Nomah Pearl Hawk, 96, of Bella Vista, formerly of Pea Ridge, died Friday, July 25, 2014, at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 1, 1918, at Wheaton, Mo., to George Henry Garrett and Rose Modine Wooten Garrett.

She married Thomas Jefferson Hawk Jr. on April 8, 1940. The couple moved to Pea Ridge from Pasadena, Texas, in 1959 to make their home.

She enjoyed flower gardening, canning vegetables, crotchetin­g, and reading. She was a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tommy in 1990; two brothers, Orvin Garrett and Wayne Garrett; and two sisters, Loretta Milligan, and Laree Main.

Survivors include three daughters, Carol Bird of Great Bend, Kan., Sharon Martin and husband Hershel of Bella Vista, and Frances Adams and husband Mike of Bella Vista; one sister, Delores Hartness of Pawhuska, Okla.; seven grandchild­ren; and 16 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation was at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge.

A graveside service followed at 11 a.m. at Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Jerry Alan Roberts

Jerry Alan Roberts, 83, of Garfield, died Friday, July 25, 2014, at his home. He was born Jan. 2, 1931, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Carl Roberts and Grace Eva Bernard Roberts.

He married Iva Dean Luther Nov. 25, 1963, at Rogers. He was a retired U.S. Navy Hull Technician Chief-E7 during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed farming, gardening, woodworkin­g, and mechanics. He was the custodian for Garfield Elementary School for 13 years; worked at Defenders Townhouse in Rogers for several years; and was the director of Ozark Outreach for 19 years. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Garfield for 36 years. He was a member of VFW post 100 and Boundless Grace Baptist Church in Little Flock.

Survivors include his wife Iva of the home; three sons, Kevin Roberts of Garfield, Curtis Roberts and Sheila Wages of Bentonvill­e and Christophe­r Roberts and Donna of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchild­ren; and four great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Thursday, July 31, at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield with pastors Josh Ramsey, John Ledenham and Benny Thompson officiatin­g.
