Monday, Jan. 19

3:10 a.m. A resident on O.D. Bancroft reported someone was trying to break into her home. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Anthony Curtis Wayne Fine, 22, Pea Ridge, for disorderly conduct and public intoxicati­on.

3:50 p.m. A resident of Hoffman Sstreet reported the back door of a nearby residence was broken. A wallet was found inside the vacant residence.

4:41 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Colby Gray Carlson, 39, Pea Ridge, for possession of scheduled I or II, possession of drug paraphernl­ia, carrying a weapon, DWI, driving on a suspended driver’s license

Tuesday, Jan. 20

8:04 p.m. A resident of South Harvey Wakefield reported fraud involving a claim to win money via a Facebook site.

6:39 p.m. Police were notified of a twovehicle accident on East Pickens Road involving vehicles driven by Linda G. Hardin, 59, Garfield, and Robert Everett Gorman, 54, Springdale. There was a 14-year-old passenger in Hardin’s vehicle. According to the report, Gorman’s vehicle was eastbound in the westbound lane and struck the westbound Hardin vehicle head-on.

Wednesday, Jan. 21

10:10 a.m. A builder reported “kids next door” getting into the house he is building and taking items. The item was found in another residence and seized as evidence. There are two juvenile male suspects, both 16 years of age.

Friday, Jan. 23

2:41 p.m. Police took a report of a private property accident involving a vehicle driven by Susan H. Mautte, 57, Eureka Springs. Mautte told police she and another vehicle had been involved in an accident in the parking lot at Sonic on Jan. 12 and she and the other driver, identified by her as Kendall Shelley, exchanged informatio­n. She told police the other driver stopped communicat­ing with her and was not cooperatin­g in repairing her vehicle. Police found and interviewe­d the suspect, then cited Shelley, 27, Pea Ridge, for no insurance.

Saturday, Jan. 24

10:50 a.m. Police were notified of theft of motor vehicle fuel from EZ Mart. The suspect returned to the store to pay for the gasoline before being contacted by police. The driver, Heather Lee Ann Barnes, 28, Pea Ridge, was cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

10:30 p.m. Police arrested Josh Presley, 36, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic battery; he was booked into the Benton County Jail.

Sunday, Jan. 25

11:55 a.m. A resident of Lynn Drive reported someone had “egged” his house overnight.

7:40 p.m. A resident of Blair Circle reported her change purse was missing from her vehicle. She said the incident occured some time ago but she rememebere­d a car alarm going off.
