Raymond M. King, 65, of Garfield, died Feb. 18, 2015, in Rogers. He was born April 21, 1949, in Boise, Idaho, to Virgil and Edna Rachel Arnold King.

He served in the United States Marines and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church in Seligman, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Edith Langstaff and Dorothy Tate.

Survivors include his children Tony King of Garfield, Tresa King of Rogers and Travis King of Lincoln, Neb.; stepchildr­en Becky, Kim, Amy and Eric; three brothers Harold King of Garfield; Ronnie King of Missouri and Carl King of Colorado; one sister, Louise Mahurin of Garfield; three grandchild­ren; two greatgrand­children; and several stepgrandc­hildren and stepgreat-grandchild­ren.

Memorial services were at noon Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at New Salem Baptist Church, Seligman, Mo., with Brother Perry Morgan officiatin­g.

Military honors were by the Rogers V.F.W. Post 3031.

Arrangemen­ts were by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.

He graduated in 1954 from Sonoma Valley High School in Sonoma, Calif., and joined the U.S. Marine Corps.

No service is scheduled at this time.
