Burial will be at Twelve Corners Cemetery in Garfield.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bentonville City Cemetery.

He spent the remainder of his life in northwest Arkansas, marrying again in 1974 to Vera Sue Piha. They had one son, Josef Franklin Walker and one grandson, Nicolaus Cole Walker.
Jim and Sue owned and operated Walker’s Carpet Service from 1975 until the present day with the help of their sons.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Sue Piha; two children, Tamara Lynn Sanchez of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Timothy Ray Walker and his wife Jackuelin of Pea Ridge, Ark; a son, Josef Franklin Walker; one grandson, Nicolaus Cole Walker; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilburn and Peggy Walker and Calvin and Jamie Walker; son, Justin Franklin, wife Terry; six grandchildren, Josh and Matthew Marchena, Robby, Ryan, Felicia and Nicolaus Walker; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Walker and Isa Marchena; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home with family memorial service to be determined.
