James Andrew Evans
James Andrew Evans, 88, of Lowell, died Friday, April 24, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Aug. 4, 1926, in Springdale to William Barton and Nannie Belle Brown Evans.
He worked for RTW. He enjoyed fishing and making wood crafts. He loved making candy, especially peanut brittle for the holidays.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Burdine Evans; two brothers, Glen Mabry and Dean Evans; four sisters, Marjorie Birge, Lorene George, Catherine Ford and Wilene “Alene” Merrell.
Survivors include two daughters, Paula Olden and husband Clay of Lowell and Karen Eckert and husband Dale of Seligman, Mo.; four grandchildren, Renee Aitken, Amanda Stamper, Sarah Olden and Samantha Olden; and four greatgrandchildren, Brian Aitken, Logan Aitken, Jordan Muller and Halie Muller.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Monday in Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs with pastor Johnny Harp officiating.
Burial with military honors followed in Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers.

Chloe Etta Lynch
Chloe Etta Lynch, 80, of Pineville, Mo. died Sunday, April 26, at her home. She was born Dec. 16, 1934, in Pea Ridge to Terry William Leach and Mary Dorothy Keene Leach.
She retired from CobbVantress where she worked in poultry research and development. She enjoyed reading Westerns, fishing and swimming at Blue Bend on Big Sugar Creek.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Gene Lynch; a son, William Clinton Lynch; one daughter, Marlyn Lynch; three brothers, Terry Dale, Vernon Dean and C.D. Leach; one grandchild, Kyle Lynch.
Survivors include two sons, Randy and Harold Lynch of Rogers; two daughters, Leah Blevins and husband Daniel of Pineville, Mo., and June Weible and husband Clarence “Injun” of Pea Ridge; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Funeral Home.
Graveside service is set for 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Pea Ridge Cemetery with pastor Jamie Cope officiating.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Bruce Jerome Petersen
Bruce Jerome Petersen, 72, of Springdale, died April 22, 2015, in Springdale. He was born March 1, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., to Walter Haddon and Emma Erma Gibson Petersen.
He had worked as a carpenter and served in the United States Navy. He had also worked in the CID Division for the Washington County Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George Petersen; one daughter-in-law, Pam Peterson; and his father-inlaw, Johnny Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Taylor Petersen, of the home; his children: James Petersen of Bauxite, Kenneth Petersen (Jennie) of Springdale, Rhonda Peterson of Lowell, Ginger Roy (Michael) of Springdale, Stephen Sims (Lisa) of Pea Ridge, Brian Petersen (Laura) of Lebanon, Ore., and Rebecca Green (Stephen) of Fayetteville; sisters-in-law, Pauline Petersen, Marsha Ivey and Sherry Parsons (Bryan); brothers-in-law: Johnny Taylor (Jo Ann) and Mark Taylor; his mother-in-law, Vera Taylor; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home.
Graveside services with military honors was at 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015, at Fayetteville National Cemetery, with minister Wayne Turnbull officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.

James Darrell Scott
James Darrell Scott, 81, of Garfield died Thursday, April 23, at Legacy Hospice in Bentonville. He was born Sept. 1, 1933, in Garfield to Clarence James Scott and Elsie Bell Stephens Scott.
He married Etta Louise Stover on May 9, 1957.
He spent 20 years with the Benton County Road Department and 20 years driving a truck for Willis Shaw. He was a Rogers Po- lice officer for eight years and he served the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in Korea. He loved to hunt, fish, was an avid foxhunter, enjoyed talking to people and was a member of New Prospect Church in Garfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Etta Scott in 2011; and a brother, Dale Scott.
Survivors include three sons, Glen Scott and wife Jannette of Garfield, Billy Scott and wife Becky of Bella Vista and Johnny Scott of Jonesboro, Ark; one daughter, Belinda Mason of Garfield; a son-inlaw, Jeff Mason of Garfield; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the funeral home.
Service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, at New Prospect Church in Garfield with pastor Ron Shultz officiating.
Burial was in Scott Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
