Helen Ruth Brooks

Helen Ruth Brooks, 60, of Pea Ridge, died May 21, 2015, in her home. She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She married Michael Reed Brooks on Aug. 27, 1991. She was raised in Caney, Kan., and was a member of the Church of God. She was a CNA for several local nursing homes and was a beloved wife, mother, sister and child of God.

Survivors include her husband, Reed Brooks of the home; a son, Bobby Dufoe of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Charlay Patterson-Goff of Elkins, Ark.; a brother, Johnny Dufoe of Independen­ce, Kan.; a sister, Peggy Strong of Humboldt, Kan.; and four grandchild­ren.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

No services are planned at this time.

Edward Lee Green

Edward Lee Green, 62, of Jay, Okla., died May 27, 2015, at his home. He was born April 8, 1953, in Seminole, Okla., to Donald Edward and Reta Lee Green.

He was a jack of all trades and master of most. He enjoyed horses, fishing and leather-working.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Thomas Green; his father Donald; a son Roger Mead; paternal grandparen­ts, R.W. and Birdie Green; and maternal grandparen­ts, Gilbert and Pauline Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Kandi, of the home; a daughter, Chelle Tillman and husband Tim, of Garfield, Ark.; a son, Justin Green, of the home; his mother, Reta Green of Moore, Okla.; his siblings, Forrest Green of Gage, Okla., Keith Green and wife April of Oklahoma City, Okla., Terrell Green of Texhoma, Okla., Gaylia Green of Shawnee, Okla., Doneta Hill and husband David of Bethel, Okla., Pat Green of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Beckie Green of Gage, Okla.; six grandchild­ren, Katelin Denny, Jackson Tillman, Cooper Tillman and Samual Tillman, all of Garfield, Ark., and Alexander and Jasmine Mead of Jay, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. June 13, 2015, in Mt. Herman Family Center, Jay, Okla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 15284 E. 390 Rd., Jay, OK 74346.

Leta Faye Carter Ingram

Leta Faye Carter Ingram, 69, of Bentonvill­e, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 11, 1945, to William Leonard Carter and Dulcie Mae Hood Carter Browder in Shady Point, Okla.

She grew up in California before moving to Michigan where she began her careers with Meijer and as a homemaker. Nothing brought her more joy than gatherings with and for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Bill Browder; a son, Robert Wesley Kenneth Ingram, in infancy; and two brothers, Leroy and Gary.

Survivors include three sons, Don Ingram Jr. (Nikki Cline) of Rogers, Bill Ingram (Serena Craft) of Bentonvill­e and Tom “FatBoy” Ingram (Christine) of Michigan; four brothers, Jerry Carter (Lori) of Bentonvill­e, Joe Carter (Angie) of California, Don Carter of Texas and Tom Carter (Sandy) of Georgia; four sisters, Wyonia Wyatt (Orval) of Pea Ridge, Sondra Bailey (Paul) of Rogers, Pamela McBroom (Wayne) of Wyoming and Paula Griswold (Gary) of California; 20 grandchild­ren; 11 greatgrand­children; and countless friends and extended family.

A family Celebratio­n of Life will be held Thursday, June 4, at 912 NW 10th St in Bentonvill­e.

Interment will be in Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Okla., at a later date.

Arrangemen­ts are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Harold Myers

Harold Myers, 86, of Garfield, died May 22, 2015, in Rogers. He was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Garfield to William Henry Myers and Nora Blackburn Myers.

He was a pastor for Pentecosta­l churches in Pea Ridge and Pampa, Texas. He worked as a supervisor for Model Laundry in Rogers for many years. He was a cattle farmer and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Earlene Myers; second wife, Cora Myers; a son, Harold Lynn Myers; five brothers, John, Junior, Walter, Bill and William Myers; seven sisters, Opal Mahurin, Hazel Clanton, Mildred Stanley, Lorene Berry, Dora Ash, Virgie Townsend and Francis Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Stout Newell of the home; three sons, Dennis Myers, Cody Stout and Steven Stout, both of Garfield; two daughters, Lydia Jowers of Brownfield, Texas, and Karen Owens of Lowell, Ark.; one sister, Izella Hendricks of Marysville, Calif.; five grandchild­ren; 14 great-grandchild­ren; and three great-greatgrand­children.

Visitation was at 1 p.m. Tuesday before the service at the church.

Service was at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at The Ridge Church in Pea Ridge with the Rev. John Henry officiatin­g. Burial was in Ruddick Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Cody Wayne Olguin

Cody Wayne Olguin, 26, of Pea Ridge, died May 28, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonvill­e. He was born Feb. 24, 1989, at Rogers, to Fernando Gomez Olguin and Tina Marlene Orndorff Olguin.

He was a selfemploy­ed landscaper and loved going to the creek, cooking out, writing poems and journaling. He loved music, being with his friends and going to Wakarusa.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother Tina Crawford and step-dad Larry Merrell of Rogers; his grandmothe­r, Betty Stettler of Centerton; three brothers, Manuel Olguin and wife April of Pea Ridge, Fernando Flores of Texas and Jackie “Jr” Jones of Rogers; and a sister, Savannah Davis and fiancé Donavan Draper of Fayettevil­le.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Service was 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with Pastor Jerome Todd officiatin­g. Burial was at Buttram Chapel Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
