Robert G. ‘ Rip’ Collins
Robert G. “Rip” Collins, 76, of Garfield, died Wednesday, June 3. He was born Oct. 4, 1938, in Scobey, Mont., to Robert and Myrtle Collins.
He moved to Arkansas in 1994.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1957 and retired in 1977 as a Commissioned Chief Warrant Officer (CWO-2). His 20-year Navy career, mostly in submarines, included USS Blackfin, USS Tang, USS Henry L. Stimpson, USS Billfish, a three-year tour in Iceland, and a two-year tour in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Two tours during the Vietnam War were aboard the USS Tang. Upon retirement from the Navy, he was employed as a locksmith and a safecracker for 17 years at Everett Safe and Lock in Everett, Wash.

After retirement from the Navy he moved to Garfield and became involved with VAS (volunteer Ambulance Service of Northeast Benton County), first as a driver, then as a 1st responder, and Emergency Medical Technician. He served on the Board of Directors for VAS, wrote a monthly newsletter, was an instructor, maintained the communications equipment and ordered medical supplies and equipment.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Maryann Collins.
Survivors include one brother, Roger “Butch” Collins of Washington State.
Service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge.
Committal service will be at Fayetteville National Cemetery at noon, Friday, June 12.

Ellis L. Eversole Jr.
Ellis L. Eversole Jr., 64, of Gentry died June 3, 2015 in Rogers. He was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Clarksville, Ark., to Ellis L. Eversole Sr. and Euca Faye Stewart Eversole.
He was a farmer and formerly worked at Emerson Electric and Foam Molding.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife Debra Eversole of the home; daughter Melissa Sisemore of Elkins; his mother Faye Easley of Hiwasse; one brother Danny Eversole of Avoca; four sisters Glenda Adams of Springdale, Glois Picht of Locksburg, Bobbie Jane Watson of Pleasant Valley, Mo., and Allie Joyce Langham of Bentonville; and one grandson on the way .
Visitation was 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; June 5, 2015.
Services were held at 1 p.m. at Oakley Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Shane Pair officiating.
Full military honors from the Rogers VFW Post 3031 followed the service.
Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Yale Cemetery near Oark, Ark.
Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.

Bobby Ray Howell
Bobby Ray Howell, 58, of Rogers, died June 5, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born July 25, 1956, in Bentonville to Billy Ray Howell and Marjorie Irene Morgan Howell.
He was a machine op- erator at Bentonville Casting for 38 years. He loved woodworking, collecting Hot Wheels and marbles. He loved to fish and being with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy Joe Howell.
Survivors include his wife Carol Jean Howell of the home; his parents, Billy and Marjorie Howell of Bentonville; two sons, Kendall Howell and wife Kelsey of Bentonville and Shannon Howell and wife Laura of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Heather Tull and husband Josh of Washburn, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Tuesday, June 9, at the funeral home.
Service is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with brother Tommy Burr officiating.
Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.

James ‘Clay’ Jenkins
James “Clay” Jenkins, 67, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died June 3, 2015, in Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy; three children; three grandchildren; and two brothers.
Visitation was 2 - 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, with a time of sharing at 3:30 p.m. at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
Glenda M. Nees
Glenda M. Nees, 83, died June 2, 2015. She was born Jan. 14, 1932, in Talala, Okla.
She spent her lifetime teaching and it was the joy of her life. She retired from the Oklahoma City School District after 28 years of service and spent over 20 years sharing her faith with her church family, as well as with many non-profits. She earned her Bachelor of Science Education from Northeastern State University and her Masters of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
There was nothing more important to Glenda than her family.
Survivors include her her son David Nees and his wife Karma of Garfield, Ark.; her daughter Cindy Reed and her husband David of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; six greatgreat- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was at 11:30 a.m. Monday before the service.
Services were at 1 p.m. Monday, June 8, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge, Ark., with Pastor Benny Thompson officiating.
Burial was at noon Tuesday, June 9, at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Oklahoma.

James Paul Wagner
James Paul Wagner, 63, of Garfield died June 7, 2015, in his home. He was born June 27, 1951, in Harvey, N.D., to William Henry and Mathilda Remmick Wagner.
He served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his children, James Paul Wagner of Jamestown, N.D.; Michelle Desmond of Aurora, Ill., and William Henry Wagner of Harvey, N.D.; sisters, Ella Mae Torling of Garfield and Adeline Ann Kupra of Harvey, N.D.; and five grandchildren.
Private interment was in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Garfield.
