Tomilee Lindner Lundy, 82, a lifetime resident of Benton County, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at her home in Rogers. She was born May 26, 1933, in Elm Springs to Thomas F. Lindner and Flossie O’Neal Lindner.

A 1951 graduate of Bentonvill­e High School, she married Benny Lundy on Aug. 22, 1957. Tomi and Benny made their home in Rogers where she worked as a telephone operator and later as a school cook at Northside Elementary and Oakdale Junior High where she retired after 25 years. Tomilee and Benny were cherished members of First Baptist Church of Rogers for over 40 years and were instrument­al in the bus ministry, youth programs and Saints Alive Choir. She enjoyed cooking, geneology and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Neva Smith; and brothers, Paul and Silas Lindner.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Benny, of the home; three children, Lee Ann Burton and husband Mike of Springdale, Mark Lundy and wife Karen of Rogers and Nancy Evans and husband Jerrall of Ponca City, Okla.; six grandchild­ren, Ben, Ellen and Erin Lundy, Abby and Bridgette Burton and Joshua Evans; one great-grandchild, Benjamin Coy Lundy; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation was at 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at the church on Eighth and Olive streets.

Service was at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at First Baptist Church in Rogers on Eighth and Olive streets.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Burial was in Benton County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Children’s Ministry, 3364 W. Pleasant Grove Rd., Rogers, AR 72758.
