Entries wanted for Veterans Parade

- FROM STAFF REPORTS

The Pea Ridge Veterans Day parade will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, this year.

“I’m urging the Pea Ridge community to participate in the parade again this year by entering a float of choice, or other (see list attached of recommended floats). If you know a veteran, we have a veterans walk/ride, or if you can get any military vehicles, that would be great, too!” said Chris Snow, USN veteran and organizer.

“Last year we had to cancel our first annual veterans parade because of bad weather,” Snow said. “We’re praying for better weather this year.”

Snow said persons participating do not have to live in Pea Ridge to be a part of this parade or to submit a float.

“I’d love to see every float listed below built and driven in the parade,” he said.

Floats will stage at noon on Townsend Way between Community First Bank and White Oak Station. There is no entry fee; community participation is welcomed.
