Charles ‘Albert’ Scott

Charles “Albert” Scott, 74, of Rogers, a true legendary cowboy, rode home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. He was born May 19, 1941, in Maysville, Ark., to Clyde Bartley and Alma Mae Burton Scott.

Scott loved horses, telling stories, coon hunting and trapping. He was a member of the AQHA, a hardworkin­g cattle rancher, selfless father and loving husband.

He was preceded in death by his father; his mother and step-father, John Meloy; one brother; and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Knox Scott of the home; children Teresa Riggs and husband George of Rogers, Rhonda Scott of Harrison, Chuck Scott and wife Dana of Welch, Okla., Katie Chambers and husband Heath of Bella Vista, Patti Scott of Catoosa, Okla., Brandon Knox of Washburn, Mo., Grant Wise of Rogers and Ashley Wise of Bentonvill­e; his brothers Raymond Scott and wife Sue of Maysville and Davey and wife Cindy Thomas; grandchild­ren, Megan Riggs, Kevin Riggs, Aaron Scott, Amanda Scott and Lorelai Jewel; his cowboy adopted son Jason Miller of Seligman, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.

Graveside service was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at the Pinnacle Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rogers, Ark.
