Mavis Orana McClain

Mavis Orana McClain, 95, of Bentonvill­e, Ark., died Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Commanche County, Texas, to James Efford and Cora Churchwell.

She was preceded in death by Wayne McClain, her husband of 68 years whom she married Nov. 8, 1942; two sisters and six brothers: Vera Castleberr­y, Cora Lee Jacobs, Charlie Churchwell, L. B. (Doc) Churchwell, Marvin Churchwell, Woody Churchwell, Bill Churchwell, and Wendlan (Mutt) Churchwell.

Survivors include four sons, Bill McClain and wife, Carolyn of Garfield, Ark., David McClain and wife, Brenda of Tahlequah, Okla., Doyle McClain of Charlottes­ville, Va., and Steve McClain and wife, Sunny of Bentonvill­e; grandchild­ren, Kari McClain-Riggins and husband, Kevin, Clinton McClain and wife, Elizabeth, Laura McClain, Jessica McClain, Michael McClain and wife, Samantha, Carolyn McClainJoh­nson and husband, Zeke, Scott Baker and wife, Stephanie, and Jamie Ligi and husband, Lou; greatgrand­children, Dakota and wife, Lauren, Granger, Remington, Stockton and Gunnison Riggins, Mackenzie and Cooper McClain, Lou, Zachary, and Devin Ligi, and Tyler Baker; one great-great granddaugh­ter, Sagely Riggins; treasured niece, Evelyn Trice; family friend, Oleta Barnett; her caregivers, Helen Henson, Gloria Timbes and Joyce Tolbert; and many cherished friends and relatives.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, in the Chapel at First Baptist Church in Bentonvill­e.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, in the chapel at First Baptist Church in Bentonvill­e with the Reverend Tom Smith officiatin­g.

Burial will be in the Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers, Ark.

Della Mae McCoy

Della Mae McCoy, 75, died in Springdale. She was born on Sept. 27, 1940, in Lowell, Ark., to Theodore and Irene (Shepard) Drymon.

She was the wife of 58 years to James Wayne McCoy.

She moved to California where she met James Wayne, also an Arkansas native. Upon returning to Arkansas, she began working for Emerson Electric, where she stayed almost 20 years before retiring. Della loved to spend time with her grandchild­ren and watching TV. She was feisty, enjoyed music and her dog, Amigo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Linda McCoy.

Survivors are her husband, James Wayne of Springdale; son, Darryl McCoy of Rogers; daughters, Joyce Cunningham and husband, David, of Siloam Springs and Gail Robinson and husband, Rick, of Pea Ridge; brothers, Ron Drymon and wife, Sue, of Springdale and Dale Drymon of California; sisters, Joanne Stapleton of California and Tammy Fugate of Rogers; grandchild­ren, Brady Sanders, Zbow Sanders, Austin McCoy, Tyler Robinson and Mandi Cooper; and great-grandchild­ren, Hunter Sanders, Colton Sanders, Zoey Sanders, Dixie Lee McCoy, Charleigh McCoy, Madyson Cooper and Bryson Cooper.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in the chapel.

Burial was in Frisco Cemetery, Lowell.

Martha Ann Simmons

Martha Ann Simmons, 37, of Pea Ridge, died Feb. 17, 2016.

She was a member of the House of Prayer Church in Rogers and enjoyed singing and helping people.

Survivors include her husband, Craig; daughter, Ashley Faith Simmons; son, Joshua Hunter Simmons; her parents and a host of brothers, sisters, family and friends.

Visitation was 3-7 p.m. Friday at the the House of Prayer Church.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at the House of Prayer Church, 2620 NE Hudson, Rogers.

Arrangemen­ts were with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.

Crystal Zella (Murdock) Wooldridge

Crystal Zella (Murdock) Wooldridge, 96, Cave Springs, died Friday, Feb. 19, at Circle of Life- Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e. She was born Aug. 14, 1919, to Claud and Nora Murdock.

She lived on the family farm near Cave Springs until her 53-year marriage to James Chester Wooldridge, who preceded her in 1991. For the past eight years, she had made her home at The Gardens Assisted living in Bentonvill­e.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cave Springs where she served faithfully until her health prevented. She was dearly loved and respected by her family and friends. She was a godly woman who lived out her faith before her children. She provided for her family and often took food or an encouragin­g word to her neighbors.

It was rare to see Crystal idle. She enjoyed working with her hands; sewing, quilting, cooking and gardening. Crystal also loved to journal and wrote numerous accounts of her life as a girl and stories about her family. She also was a reporter for her church at one time, reporting news from her church to the county newspaper. Though she loved her hobbies, her greatest gift was love and she had a big hug and a listening ear for anyone who needed a kind and encouragin­g word.

Survivors are her children: Darrel Wooldridge (Cinda) of Pea Ridge, Marilyn Haney (Gary) of Cave Springs, Ronnie Wooldridge (Sue) of Aubrey, Texas, Janye Worsham (Larry) of Springfiel­d, Mo., and Donna Smith (Dick) of Dutch Mills, Ark.; her sister, Nina Ruth Griggs of Parsons, Kan.; 21 grandchild­ren; 28 greatgrand­children; five greatgreat-grandchild­ren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation was at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22.

Services were at noon Monday, Feb. 22, at Lakeview Baptist Church of Northwest Arkansas in Cave Springs.

Interment was in Phillips Cemetery near Cave Springs.

Memorials are suggested to Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, AR 72762.
