Monday, March 7

10:45 a.m. A student at Pea Ridge Middle School turned an Adderall pill over to the nurse who turned it in to the School Resource Officer.

Tuesday, March 8

1:08 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Jericho B. Lambert, 21, Pea Ridge, for no vehicle license and arrested one of the passengers, Teveynn Daniel Bergeron, 18, Pea Ridge, on a warrant from Pea Ridge for fleeing. There were also two 17-year-old females in the vehicle.

7:45 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hoffman Street for a theft involving two red metal chairs stolen from off the porch.

Wednesday, March 9

9:18 p.m. A resident of Hazelton Road turned a stray dog into the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

8:36 p.m. Police were dispatched to a parking lot off Slack Street for a person possibly sleeping in a vehicle. While speaking with the man, police noticed a Glock handgun in the passenger seat. The man admitted to having numerous guns with him. The man was asked to park under a light and “not hidden.”

Thursday, March 10

9 a.m. Police were notified of a missing person who had reportedly left a residence on Hutchinson Street and had been missing since March 6. It was determined he had left a residence in Missouri. After a lengthy investigat­ion, the man was found safe on March 11.

3:20 p.m. A student at Pea Ridge Middle School reported his cell phone stolen. As a result of the investigat­ion, police located the phone between the seats of a school bus.

6:07 p.m. Police received a complaint from a parent of a Primary School student that the bus driver had slapped her child that afternoon. As part of the investigat­ion, the victim, 8, and witness, 10, were interviewe­d by the Children’s Advocacy Center. As a result of the investigat­ion, including video footage, it was determined the allegation­s were unfounded .

Friday, March 11

12:21 p.m. The School Resource Officer learned of a fight involving two juvenile males (ages 13 and 15) in the hallway at the Middle School. As a result of the investigat­ion, including video footage, the 15-year-old male was charged with third-degree battery.

2 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic for a resident dropping off three dogs she said she picked up on Pickens Road near Klauss Lane.

Saturday, March 12

8:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Stephanie Sheppard, 45, Pea Ridge, for DWI and refusal to submit.

Sunday, March 13

6:45 a.m. Police were dispatched to McDonald’s for a suspicious circumstan­ce involving a man saying he got a ride from someone who pointed a gun at him and threatened him. The incident is under investigat­ion.

3 p.m. While on the way to a suspicious circumstan­ce on John W. Montgomery, police made a traffic stop on a black pickup truck. As a result of the stop, police arrested Anthony Curtis Wayne Fine, 23, Pea Ridge, for an outstandin­g warrant from Bentonvill­e and Austin Christophe­r Gibson, 22, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver’s license, and transporte­d them to the Benton County Jail.

10:24 p.m. A Pea Ridge resident flagged down police at an area business to report a verbal disturbanc­e involving her “soon to be ex-husband.” He was interviewe­d and both parties were advised to seek an order of protection and to seek legal counsel.

10:11 p.m. Police were advised of a single vehicle wreck on Ark. Hwy. 72 near Spanker Creek that State Police were investigat­ing and that the driver was on foot possibly headed to an address in Pea Ridge. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Quock Phong Le, 36, Pea Ridge, and transporte­d him to the trooper at the scene of the accident.
