Norma Lee Hoback

Norma Lee Hoback, 85, of Bentonvill­e, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. She was born April 14, 1930, at Bixby, Okla., to Finis Jefferson Henderson and Nora Myrtle Ramsey Henderson.

She was employed at the Benton County Circuit Clerk’s Office for 10 years before moving to Springfiel­d, Mo., where she was employed at John Q. Hammons Bank. She enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, fishing, boating and being outdoors. She was a member of Vaughn Presbyteri­an Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Hoback; and one brother, Fayburn Henderson.

Survivors are one sister, Evelyn White of Hindsville.

Cremation is by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

A private family burial will be held at Benton County Memorial Park.

LaVerne Doris Jones

LaVerne Doris Jones, 89, of Bentonvill­e, Ark., died March 31, 2016, in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was born Aug. 11, 1926, in Warren, Penn., to Charley Chapin and Treva (Pinney) Chapin.

LaVerne and Oscar Jones were married on Sept. 5, 1945, in Siloam Springs, Ark. She was retired from Emerson Electric.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Jones of Pea Ridge, Ark., Violet Arnold and husband John of Glenoma, Wash., and Pearl Williamson and Fred of Bella Vista, Ark.; son Bobby Jones and wife Delta of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; 10 grandchild­ren; 21 great-grandchild­ren; four great-great-grandchild­ren; and sisters Pauline Berry of Missouri and Norene Barnes of Fayettevil­le, Ark.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.

Graveside services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fayettevil­le, Ark.

Ernie Lundy

Ernie Lundy, 69, of Bentonvill­e, Ark., died April 2, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e after a long battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 19, 1946, in Busch, Ark., to Angie and Jake Lundy.

He retired from Walmart after 24 years of employment and ventured into starting his own business — Merchandis­ing and Packaging services with his wife Teresa. During his lifetime, he gained many friendship­s and made an ever-lasting impression on those who knew him. He enjoyed attending various car shows, any outdoor activities, and spending quality time with his family.

Survivors are his wife Teresa Lundy; son, Eric Troy Lundy and wife, Kim Lundy of Pea Ridge, Ark.; daughter, Whitney Lundy and fiancé, Aaron Cambou of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; sister, Pearl Patterson of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; brother, Ben Lundy of Rogers, Ark.; and four grandchild­ren, Jacob, Zoe, Mya, and Mason Lundy of Pea Ridge.

There will be no public funeral service per the request of the deceased.

Darrell Wayne Lushenko

Darrell Wayne Lushenko, 59, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at his home. He was born Jan. 17, 1957, in Sacramento, Calif., to Ronald Wayne Lushenko and Betty Louella Roller Lushenko.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He worked in home constructi­on, enjoyed listening to music, camping, swimming and boxing.

He was preceded in death by his father and one son, Daniel Lushenko.

Survivors are his wife Mary of the home; mother Betty of the home; five children, Shane Lushenko and Candice of Tulsa, Okla., Shannon Lushenko and Crystal of Vancouver, Wash., Shawn Lushenko of Moses Lake, Wash., and Adam Lushenko of Miami, Okla.; one daughter, Holly Borja & Armondo of Sonora, Ark.; one stepson, John Wycte of Sonora, Ark.; one brother, David Cook of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Debbie Hall and Windle of Washburn, Mo., and Naomi Carper of Sonora, Ark.; and 12 grandchild­ren.

Visitation was Tuesday, April 5, at Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.

Graveside service was 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
