Wednesday, June 22

8: 52 a. m. A resident of McCulloch reported theft of cash from a vehicle. As a result of the investigat­ion, it was determined that the theft occurred in another location. Police contact the agency with fingerprin­t identifica­tion found as a result of the investigat­ion.

Saturday, June 25

11 p. m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Eagle Crest for a disturbanc­e no longer in progress. Informatio­n from the investigat­ion was sent to the Benton County Prosecutor’s office.

Monday, June 27

9:15 a.m. Police found an abandoned vehicle in a curve on Lee and Collins streets about six feet from the side of the road on a jack. There was no license plate on the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and impounded.

Wednesday, June 29

11:33 a.m. When attempting to talk to a resident on North Davis Street about a disabled vehicle in the front yard of the residence, police reported the resident allowed a dog to run out barking at the police and showing its teeth. The dog did not have tags or a rabies vaccinatio­n. As a result of the incident, police cited Emily Diane Copp, 23, Pea Ridge, for no city tags and no proof of rabies vaccinatio­n.

8: 20 p. m. A resident of Shepherd S Road reported illegal dumping in her trash dumpster. As a result of the investigat­ion, police identified suspects. The incident is still under investigat­ion.

Thursday, June 30

8: 13 a. m. A resident of Patterson Road reported a 17- year- old male missing. The youth was reported to have medical issues that may complicate his situation. On July 4, while on patrol, police found the youth sleeping under a bench in the city park. He was returned to his home.

9:35 a.m. A resident of S. Harvey Wakefield Road reported two German shepherd dogs were at his residence. The dogs were taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. Later that afternoon, the owner, Humberta Oaks, claimed the dogs. Oaks, 41, Pea Ridge, was cited for two counts of dog at large.

5:29 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a physical disturbanc­e. The incident was described as an open 911 call. Dispatcher­s reported hearing a female voice asking someone to put away a gun, according to the report. Upon arrival at the residence, police said the female came out of the residence and was safely escorted away from the immediate area. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Jerry E. Morgan, 53, Pea Ridge, for felony terroristi­c threatenin­g and felony aggravated assault on a family or household member. A Laura’s Law assessment was completed for the femail

9: 10 p. m. Police were dispatched to a business on North Curtis Avenue for a customer attempting to pass a counterfei­t $ 20 bill. The customer reported the $ 20 was received in change from a business in Rogers.

Friday, July 1

6: 40 p. m. Police were dispatched to a motor- vehicle accident on East Pickens Road east of Klauss Road and were advised the driver of the vehicle left the area on foot. A green Dodge pickup truck was found in the woods on the south side of the road. The vehicle was impounded. Later, police received a report from Benton County Sheriff’s deputies that a resident on Twelve Corners Road reported a vehicle matching the descriptio­n of the Dodge had been stolen. Later informatio­n, was that the vehicle was not stolen and would be a civil incident.

10:53 p.m. Police were dispatched to Richards Street for a motor vehicle hit and run involving a white Jaguar hitting a truck parked against the curb in front of a residence. While on the way to the incident, police saw the suspect vehicle at another residence on Richards Street. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Benjamin Caston, 28, Pea Ridge, for careless and prohibited driving, driving on a suspended license (DWI) and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Caston also had active warrants for DWI failure to appear times two from Washington County. He was booked into the Benton Country Jail

Saturday, July 2

7: 19 p. m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Chapman Lane for a verbal disturbanc­e and possible suicidal subject. There were no arrests.

Sunday, July 3

3: 55 p. m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Curtis Avenue for a stray dog. The female yellow lab was taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

7:51 p.m. Police were dispatched to a business on Lee Town Road for an injured female. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Patricia Ann Mize, 34, Pea Ridge, for public intoxicati­on and resisting arrest. A 48-year- old woman was transporte­d to the hospital by ambulance for a head injury.

Monday, July 4

2: 53 p. m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge City Park in reference to a criminal mischief report involving a broken mirror in the men’s restroom. There was also profane graffiti on picnic tables and a concrete floor. The incident is under investigat­ion.
