March 17
6:36 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Daniel Ray Ford, 39, Pineville, Mo., on an absconder warrant and cited him for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
March 18
9:30 p.m. Police took a report of a domestic battery that happened a residence on Mary Phelps Drive. The incident is under investigation.
Monday, March 20
1:11 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Hilda Mezquita, 32, Rogers, for driving on a suspended driver’s license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no proof of insurance.
7:37 p.m. Police were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of It’ll Do and Hazelton roads involving a semi-tractor trailer that had overturned. The driver, Corey Planck, 41, Springfield, Mo., told police he was not injured. The tank contained about 54,000 of“chicken guts.”A Carroll Electric pole was hit in by the truck. Planck was cited for imprudent driving.
Tuesday, March 21
2:29 p.m. Police arrested Cristal V. Alamos, 28, Rogers, for a warrant from Rogers and and Lowell, driving on a suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance and improper use of vehicle license.
3:16 p.m. As a result of an investigation into seeing a male switch vehicle license plates from one vehicle to another parked at Sonic, police arrested Dallas Roscoe Sneed, 27, Springdale, on a Bethel Heights warrant and for possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended driver’s license.
4:44 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Ryan Road for a suspicious vehicle. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Kyle Gentry, 24, Reed Springs, Mo., criminal use of a prohibited weapon (possession of metal knuckles) and possession of instruments of crime; and William Scott Brown, 29, Galena, Mo., possession of instruments of crime.
5:10 p.m. Police took a report of a motor-vehicle accident that happened on Slack Street across from the Neighborhood Market and from which one of the drivers had left the scene of the accident. According to the victim, a Jeep Grand Cherokee exited the Neighborhood Market and struck the eastbound Honda Accord driven by Cherie Yvonne Stewart, 32, Pea Ridge. The incident is under investigation.
7:47 p.m. Police were dispatched to Subway restaurant in regards to two people smoking marijuana in a vehicle in the parking lot. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Jennifer L. Garigen, 32, Garfield, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, March 22
3:20 p.m. Police received an anonymous call about a juvenile runaway walking on Patterson Road. As a result of the investigation, police arrested the 16-year-old male for failure to appear fro an adjudication hearing on drug charges.
Thursday, March 23
5:17 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Mallory C. Buttry, 23, Pineville, Mo., for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday, March 24
2:35 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Turner Way for a physical disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Brandon M. Hockenberry, 35, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic battery and interfering with emergency communication, and Charlie Hockenberry, 32, Pea Ridge, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
3:01 p.m. Police met a resident of Klauss Lane at Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic to accept a small male Daschund that had been found running loose.
Saturday, March 25
11:26 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Cody L. Winn, 22, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance, on a warrant from Rogers and cited for fictitious tags and failure to register.
4:58 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Dallas Roscoe Sneed, 27, Springdale, for driving on a suspended driver’s license, improper use of vehicle license and no proof of insurance.
7:30 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported a bicycle was stolen from the old football field. According to the report, a boy had ridden his bike there to watch a game, and when he returned to the bike, it was gone.
11:41 p.m. Police were dispatched to Gaines Street for a loud noise complaint. A witness said vehicles were in the construction area“doing donuts in the mud.”As a result of the investigation, police cited Keith Jordan Couchman, 18, Seligman, Mo., and a 17-year-old male, for careless/prohibited driving each. The property owner said he did not want to press charges for criminal mischief.
Sunday, March 26
8:05 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Christopher M. Bray, 29, Garfield, for no proof of insurance, failure to register and fictitious tags. His vehicle was towed and impounded.
