Gospel music fundraiser
WASHBURN, Mo. — A “Hog Roast” fundraiser is planned for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at OK Assembly of God. The church is located two and a half miles west of Missouri Highway 37 on Missouri Highway 90.
There will be lots of food and desserts. The cost is donations only and all proceeds will go towards building repair. Bring a guitar or fiddle and join the gathering.
Movies in the Park slated
Movies in the Park will be sponsored by the Pea Ridge Park Commission again this summer. Movies will begin about 8:30 p.m. but may be slightly delayed depending on amount of sunlight remaining, according to chairman Joseph Carleson.
