Thursday, July 20

12:30 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Evan D. Caston, 26, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance, sch. III.

5:44 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jimmy Dwayne Harvey, 46, Rogers, for DWI, careless and prohibited and no motorcycle endorsemen­t.

Saturday, July 22

8:45 p.m. While on patrol, police observed a man walking in the travel lane of Slack Street. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Larry Joe Merrell, 55, Rogers, for public intoxicati­on and on a Rogers warrant.

Sunday, July 23

1:43 p.m. A resident of Clark Street reported finding two credit/debit cards at the end of their driveway.

Monday, July 24

2:50 p.m. An employee at Equity Bank reported receiving a counterfei­t $100 bill from a local business. The reported was forwarded to the Criminal Investigat­ion Division for further investigat­ion.

7:22 p.m. As a result of an investigat­ion, police arrested James Martin Morris 26, Bella Vista, for public intoxicati­on and loitering.

Tuesday, July 25

7:25 a.m. Police caught a stray dog that was standing in the middle of Luke Street. It was was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. The owner, Stephen L. Rosser, 27, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog later in the day and was cited for animal at large.

8:17 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hallack Lane for a dog at large that was chasing the resident’s cats. The dog was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. On July 26, Sylvia Miller, 25, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog.

2 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Tammy Rae Harris, 51, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver’s license and transporte­d to Rogers to meet Lowell Police for a warrant after she turned in marijuana weighing less than 3 grams. The passenger, Cody D. Crain, 40, Lowell, was wanted on outstandin­g warrants from Eureka Springs, Bentonvill­e, Benton County and Washington County. He was taken by

ambulance to a local hospital for what appeared to be a medical condition.

3:25 p.m. Police served four warrants on Cody D. Crain, 40, Lowell. Warrants were for failure to appear from Washington County, Springdale, Bentonvill­e and Rogers.

7:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Green Street for a report of theft of a chop saw and damage to a tool box.

Thursday, July 27

7:42 a.m. Police took a report of a motor-vehicle accident that happened at the intersecti­on of West Pickens Road and North Curtis Avenue involving vehicles driven by Michael Joe Smith, 58, Pea Ridge, and Kody Younger, 24, Pea Ridge. Smith reported Younger hit his vehicle from behind. The two men reportedly argued and the incident was determined to be a verbal disturbanc­e.

5:31 p.m. Police took a report of a three-vehicle collision that happened at South Curtis Avenue just north of Harris Street involving vehicles driven by Howard Beavers, 48, Pea Ridge; Kelly Eubanks, 34, Bella Vista; and John Bereznicki, 59, Pea Ridge. Beavers was cited for careless/prohibited driving.

Sunday, July 30

3:22 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Rebecca Lynn Clifford, 36, Pineville, Mo., for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
