Paul W. Richardson, 69, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, in a Fort Smith hospital.

He was born April

25, 1948, in Rogers, Ark., to Hubert and Ruth

(Dillard) Richardson.

He graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1966. He moved to Fort Smith in 1968 where he worked in food service as a catering truck owner and driver and was formerly a realtor.

He was an active member for 32 years of First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren, Ark.

His hobbies were collecting old coins, traveling with his wife and grandchild­ren and being the “world’s best PaPa.”

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Bryce Redwine and Trevor Serjeant.

Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Rose Richardson of the home; two sons, Phillip Richardson and Kirk Redwine and his wife Stephanie of Van Buren; two daughters, Paula Richardson Kaylor and her husband Travis of Dover, Ark., and Vanessa Wilburn and her husband Mart of Bakersfiel­d, Calif.; one brother, Lloyd Richardson and his wife Lois of Pea Ridge, Ark.; seven grandchild­ren; and six greatgrand­children.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.

Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
