Annual D.A.S.H. to Remember set for March 3

An annual event, the D.A.S. H. to Remember 5K run/walk is slated for Saturday, March 3.

Funds raised go to the Ryan Mondy, DASH Memorial Scholarship. D.A.S.H., an acronym for Doing Anything Supportive Helps, was created by Chris and Andrea Mondy, who son Ryan died of cancer.

There is a 5K run/walk and a one-mile fun run. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. with the one mile beginning at about 8:45 a.m.

Entry fees are $15 for the one mile for ages 12 and under and $20 for persons over 12. The fee is $25 for the 5K.

The first 100 5K participants are guaranteed a t-shirt and goody bag. All participants are to meet at the Ryan Mondy Memorial T-Ball field on Weston Street. Entries may be mailed to DASH Memorial Scholarship, attn. Race Registration, P.O. Box 386, Pea Ridge AR 72751. Early packet pickup and last minute registration is 5-7 pm. Friday, March 2, at the Ryan Mondy Memorial Tee Ball field. Checks should be made payable to Arkansas Community Foundation, memo line: Ryan Mondy D.A.S.H.
