Harold Glenn Bell

Harold Glenn Bell, 75, of Bentonvill­e, Ark., died on July 4, 2018, in Jamestown Rehabilita­tion Center in Rogers, Ark., in the presence of his family. He was born in Rogers on March 23, 1943, to Lewis Presley Bell and Oletha Pearl (nee John) Bell.

He was baptized as a member of the Church of Christ.

He attended school in Pea Ridge and Rogers, Ark., graduated from Rogers High School in 1961, and attended the University of Arkansas.

His early jobs included jeweler’s apprentice and machinist, and he had several careers, including as an engineer at Telex, Inc. in Tulsa, Okla., as a recruiter placing engineers and geologists in the oil and gas industry, and as an entreprene­ur, co-founding businesses in pressure washer equipment sales and manufactur­ing, and telecommun­ication equipment sales.

He was an avid ice hockey fan and a committed proponent of youth soccer. He coached youth soccer teams for many years and played a key role in reviving recreation­al soccer in Bentonvill­e. He also served multiple terms as the Youth Commission­er on the Arkansas State Soccer Board.

He was devoted to his family, loved to socialize with old friends and classmates, and was quick with a comeback. He always had a plan in the works and wasn’t going to be told what to do. He was a talented designer and engineer and a voracious reader and coffee drinker, and he knew how to raise an eyebrow effectivel­y.

He is remembered with love.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Lloyd.

Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Winnie Mae (nee Springer); sons, Michael of Piermont, N.Y., and Matthew of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; siblings, John (Robbye) of Hammond, La., Richard (Sharon) of Columbia, Tenn., Wayne (Judy) of Rogers, Ark., Myra (Leonard) McGee of Purdy, Mo., and Milton (Cathy) of Ramona, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018, in Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018, in New Home Church Cemetery on Peach Orchard Road in Bentonvill­e, Ark., with Randy Feathersto­n officiatin­g.

Mary Ann Carr

Mary Ann Carr, 65, of Garfield, died July 8, 2018, in Rogers. She was born Jan. 18, 1953, to Leon Trucks and Mary Manley in Detroit, Mich.

Survivors are her husband Mike Carr; sons, Chris, Stephen, Thomas and David Carr; sister, Judy McConnell; 10 grandchild­ren; and one soon great-grandchild.

Arrangemen­ts were by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, Arkansas.

Shirley Ann Evans

Shirley Ann Evans, 79, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died July 2, 2018, at Ashley Health and Rehab. She was born Sept. 29, 1938, in Marseilles, Ill., to Victor Charles Flori and Stella Marie Underwood Flori.

She worked as an administra­tive clerk for Ottawa Medical Center in Ottawa, Ill. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and was a Catholic.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Felix Biffany; second husband, Bill Horsley Sr.; third husband, Lonnie Evans; a brother, Geno Flori; and a sister, Norma Flori.

Survivors are three sons, Victor Biffany of Grandville, Ill., Jon Biffany Sr. and wife Bethie of Pea Ridge and Bill Horsley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Marie Gunter, of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Victor Flori of Marseilles, Ill.; two sisters, Vicki Newston of Ottawa, Ill., Yvonne Swearingin, of Carson City, Nev.; many grandchild­ren; and many great-grandchild­ren.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

No service is scheduled.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles, Ill.

Nathan Marvin Foster

Nathan Marvin Foster, 41, died in his home on July 6, 2018. He was born Jan. 11, 1977, in Springdale, Ark., to Jesse Wayne and Shanna (Williams) Foster.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparen­ts, Jesse and Martha Foster, Zella and Earl Wiliams; two uncles, Larry and Herman Foster; and one cousin, Kerry Howerton.

Survivors are his wife Gwendolyn Easely; his mother; sons, Jesse, Jonas, Daniel and Nathan A. Foster of Garfield; daughter, Ella Foster of Garfield; sister, Ceree and Kip Somerville of Pea Ridge; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Nancy Muriel Powers

Nancy Muriel Powers, 84, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died July 3, 2018, at Legacy Hospice in Bentonvill­e. She was born June 15, 1934, in Dearborn, Mich., to Sherman Smith Fassett and Cora Louise Ingalls Fassett.

She retired from Southweste­rn Bell in Rogers, Ark., after more than 50 years of service and was a member of the Hills of the Ozarks Automobile Club. She loved to crochet, make stained glass, gardening and canning.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Raymond McClain; second husband, Kenneth Powers; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Ken (Sandra) Fassett , Betty (Paul) Mishler, Laveta (Larry) Anderson, Gordie Fassett, Irene Dennett, Kathleen Fassett and Sharon Fassett; and a grandson, Noah McClain.

Survivors are a son, Michael McClain and wife Jeannie of Powell, Mo.; Melanie McClain of Pea Ridge; four brothers, Richard (Mary Ann) Fassett of Beaverton, Mich., Sherman ( Joanne) Fassett of Beaverton, Mich., Robert (Marian) Fassett of Beaverton, Mich., and David (Karen) Fassett of Gladwin, Mich.; two sisters, Janice (Lenard) Govitz and Mary Lou (Del) Voller, both of Beaverton, Mich.; brother- and sister-in-law, Duaine Dennett of Arizona and Gail Fassett of Midland, Mich.; five grandchild­ren; and 13 great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, at Twelve Corners Cemetery in Garfield.

There is no visitation scheduled.

Yvonne Kay Tracy

Yvonne Kay Tracy, 79, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, July 8, 2018, in Ozark Terrace Nursing Home Rogers, Ark. She was born Oct. 29, 1938, in Ionia, Kan., to Glenn and Edith Gailey-Ault.

She had a passion for nursing and taking care of those in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Le Roy Ault and Edith Irene Gailey Ault-Hickman; and one niece, Christi Robinson.

Survivors are two brothers, Glenn Ault and wife Dorothy of Silt, Colo., and Ron Ault and wife, Levern of Little Flock, Ark.; one sister, Janice Rankin of Rogers, Ark.; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, in Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, in Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Internment services will follow the service in Bethel Cemetery, Gravette, Ark.
