Monday, Aug. 13

6:19 p.m. Police were dispatched to Wright’s Laundry Mat on North Curtis Avenue for a physical disturbanc­e. As a result of the investigat­ion, police issued citations to Lester Dover, 47, Pea Ridge, third degree battery and obstructin­g government­al operations; Gracious Gift Barber, 33, Pea Ridge, third degree battery; JerrodWynn­e, 30, Sulphur Springs, third degree battery.

Wednesday, Aug. 15

5:51 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported someone had fraudulent­ly used her credit card and placed an online order. She said she wanted the report for the bank.

Friday, Aug. 17

2:32 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Sheldon Shane Herring, 28, Garfield, in connection with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug parapherna­lia

10:07 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Randal Kade Jaber, 64, Pea Ridge, in connection with driving on a suspended driver’s license and transporte­d him to Rogers for a Rogers warrant.

Saturday, Aug. 18

9:24 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Harper Drive for a criminal mis chief report involving someone running over a mailbox, apparently during the night.

12:42 p.m. A resident of John W. Montgomery Circle told police she found a dog at her house and it was in“bad shape.”She agreed to transport the dog to the Pea RidgeVet Clinic and it was impounded.

1:49 p.m. A resident of Rogers reported her vehicle had been hit and damaged. She said she noticed while it was parked in her driveway on Hardie Road, Rogers.

9:51 p.m.While on patrol, police saw a pickup truck sitting sideways in the westbound lane of Sugar Creek Road and found no one around the truck. The truck apparently hit a retaining wall on the right side of the road. It was discovered a 17-yearold male was the driver. He was issued a citation for careless and prohibited driving and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Monday, Aug. 20

6:18 p.m. Police took a report of a twovehicle accident with no injuries.The accident happened at the intersecti­on of Slack Street and Curtis Avenue and involved vehicles driven by Robert M. Bridges, 61, Seligman, Mo., and Laurie E. Lammey, 48, Pea Ridge. Lammey was issued a citation for imprudent driving.

Thursday, Aug. 23

8:12 a.m. Police were dispatched to Walmart Neighborho­od Market for a theft report for an incident that occurred on the evening of Aug. 21. As a result of the investigat­ion, police issued a citation in connection with shopliftin­g to Jason Ora, 31, Pea Ridge.

9:38 a.m. As a result of an investigat­ion, police cited Hunter Salkill, 18, Pea Ridge, in connection with criminal use of a prohibited weapon.

Friday, Aug. 24

5:30 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported her 15- year-old son came home with a bloody left knee. She said he told her he was

playing with another juvenile male who jumped over him pushing him to the ground and causing him to sc rape his knee.

Saturday, Aug. 25

9:48 a.m. Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Carr Street involving vehicles driven by Bruce John Ward ,54, Pea Ridge, and Dale G once ,52, Pea Ridge. As a resultof the investigat­ion, police arrested Ward in connection with DWI, care less/ prohibited driving, no proof of insurance and no seat belt.

12:15 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge went to the police station with a dog she found running loose on Blair Circle. She took the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic where it was impounded by police.

1:32 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Harrison Street for a male reportedly“having a mental breakdown .” Police contacted the prosecutor who advised the complainan­t to go in on Monday for a civil commit.

3:10 p.m. Police were dispatched to Head Hunters Salon for a dog-at-large call. The dog was found in the parking lot. The complainan­t

took the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic, where it was impounded by police.

Sunday, Aug. 26

9:34 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Harrison Street for a suicidal subject. As a result of the investigat­ion, paramedics took a male to the hospital for help.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

10:29 a.m. Police were advised a city employee dropped off a dog at the Pea RidgeVet Clinic.The dog was found behind T.H. Rodgers.

1 p.m. Police were advised by dispatch of a dog call at the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic involving a city resident who dropped off a dog saying it was found at Lindsey/North Curtis Avenue.The dog’s owner was found by informatio­n on its collar.The owner, Teesha West, picked up the dog about 4:15 p.m.

9:28 p.m. A resident of Frost Street reported theft of fabric and beads from her garage and said she’d seen them on a social media site for sale.
