Friday, March 15
8 a.m. Police were advised of a vehicle accident in the high school parking lot involving a vehicle driven by a juvenile that hit another vehicle.
6:58 p.m. As a result of a pursuit which ensued following an attempted traffic stop, police obtained a felony arrest warrant for the suspect in question. Officers from Benton County Sheriff ’s Office, Little Flock and Bella Vista assisted in the pursuit. The vehicle driven by one of two Pea Ridge Police officers involved in the pursuit sustained a flat tire.
Saturday, March 16
1:50 p.m. Police were notified of a vehicle accident and unauthorized use of a vehicle. As a result of the investigation, police requested an arrest warrant for the suspect.
Monday, March 18
3:11 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Evan D. Caston, 28, Pea Ridge, in connection with driving on a suspended driver’s license; no proof of insurance; expired vehicle license; and on a warrant from Bentonville.
Tuesday, March 19
5:07 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Kody D. Stroud, 25, Pea Ridge, in connection with DWI and speeding.
Friday, March 22
5:49 p.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported finding the back glass of his pickup truck broken. He said it could have happened any time between 6 p.m. March 17 and noon March 18.
7:23 p.m. Police received a report of a missing person, a 49-year-old male, from a residence on Humphrey Street. On March 25, police were notified the person was found.
Saturday, March 23
11:45 a.m. Police were advised of two stray dogs near Curtis Avenue and Davis Street. The complainant agreed to take the dogs to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic, where they were impounded. On March 25, Emily J. Spears, 41, Pea Ridge, claimed one of the dogs and was cited in connection with dog at large. According to the report, Spears’ residence is outside the city limits.
12:41 p.m. Police received a report from a resident on Greer Street who said she was receiving threatening messages. As a result of the investigation, police issued a criminal trespass to Valerie Carlton via telephone, according to the police report.
Sunday, March 24
2:39 p.m. Police were notified of a stray dog at 190 S. Curtis Ave. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic by the manager of the business. The owner of the dog, Nicholas Gibson, 21, Pea Ridge,
6:56 p.m. Police were dispatched to a physical disturbance at a residence on Wade Lane. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Stephanie Sears, 37, Seligman, Mo., in connection with third-degree domestic battery.
Monday, March 25
3:59 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Intermediate School for an animal at large. The dog was transported to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic by a Street Department employee.
4 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Harris Street for a suicidal subject regarding a person reportedly overdosing on pills. The subject was transported to a hospital.
Tuesday, March 26
8:13 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Samuel Means, 18, Pea Ridge, in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to dim headlights.
Wednesday, March 27
10:35 a.m. A resident of Reed Street reported being bitten by a dog at a residence. The owner of the dog provided proof of vaccination and agreed to keep it contained for 10 days.
Thursday, March 28
10:32 am. The school resource officer was notified a student at the Middle School was in possession of a nicotine vaporizer. The vaporizer was confiscated; the student was disciplined by the school.
10:40 a.m.The school resource officer was contacted concerning a juvenile being touched inappropriately by a foster parent. The incident was reported to the child abuse hot line.
Friday, March 29
6:12 a.m. Police were dispatched to a motor-vehicle collision at the intersection of Slack and Oakley streets involving vehicles driven by Rebecca L. Tillman, 20, Pea Ridge, and Tawni Scully, 22, Garfield. As a result of the investigation, Tillman was cited in connection with imprudent driving/ inattentive driving.
1:36 p.m. Police were notified that a stray dog had been dropped off at the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. The dog was reportedly found in the City Park.
4:55 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic for a Boston terrier that had been dropped off after reportedly being found on Weston Street. The owner, Sherry Slinkard, 64, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog soon after it was impounded.
Saturday, March 30
10:37 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Davis Street for a delayed accident report involving someone apparently hitting a fire hydrant overnight.
Monday, April 1
7:32 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a stray dog which had attempted to get onto a school bus. The dog was transported to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic by an employee of the Water Department.
