Loyd Wayne Bennett

Loyd Wayne Bennett, 82, of Rogers, died Oct. 10, 2019. He was born June 3, 1937, in Johnson, the sixth of eight children of Loyd Andrew and Lillie Florence Bennett.

He graduated from Chula Vista High School in California. He married Loretta Sue Bennett on July 3, 1958, and they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. They lived in California for 30 years before moving back to Arkansas in 1992.

He worked for the Pea Ridge School District as a bus driver and then at Pea Ridge Primary School as the grandpa-custodian to “500 children.”

He was a member and door greeter of Hope Community Bible Church in Rogers.

He enjoyed spending time with his 19 grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, great-great-grandchild­ren and working on projects his wife gave him.

Survivors are his wife, Loretta Sue; his daughters, Lana Olson and her husband Michael and Laura Godfrey and her husband Edward; his grandchild­ren, LeeAnna Melissa Kester and her husband Kevin, Melinda Burkett and her husband Kevin, Monica Hodge and her husband Daryl, Luke Godfrey and his wife Rebekah, Elizabeth Villar and her husband Gerry; great-grandchild­ren, Clint Kester and wife Brooklyn, Rebecca Kaiser and husband Josh, Kyle Kester, Casey Kester, Koleton Burkett, Edward “Eddy” Villar, Amelia Villar, Kaelyn Joy Hodge, Lily Godfrey, Asher Godfrey and Ava Bowen; greatgreat-grandchild­ren, Oakley Kester and Weston Kester; honorary grandchild­ren, Josh Bowen and his wife Stephanie and Felecia Bowen; sister, Elane Bennett; brother, J.D. Bennett; sisters-in-law, Leslie Sherman and Imalee Riggens; a number of nieces and nephews; and teachers and friends, whom he loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the Walmart auditorium of the Shewmaker Center, NWACC, 1000 S.E. Eagle Way in Bentonvill­e, with Pastor Edward Godfrey officiatin­g.

Kenneth Howard Cunningham

Kenneth Howard Cunningham, 73, of Seligman, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, in his home. He was born Feb. 2, 1946, in Jay, Okla., to William Ray Cunningham and Cora Belle Williams Cunningham.

He married Jeanne Elva Capehart Aug. 29, 1974, and was a self-employed carpenter. He loved riding horses, raising cattle and operated his own sawmill. He enjoyed spending time with his family, studying the Bible and was a member of the Living Church of God in Joplin, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are his beloved wife, Jeanne of the home; children, Sheila Cunningham of Seligman, Howard Cunningham of Seligman, Tammy Clark of Quapaw, Okla., James Cunningham of Bentonvill­e, and Sheryl Moore of Hot Springs; 17 grandchild­ren; and 31 greatgrand­children.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge.

Burial will be in Zena Cemetery in Oklahoma. There is no visitation. Online condolence­s may be made at siscofuner­al home.net.

Jeffry Allen Eller

Jeffry Allen Eller, 60, lost his battle to frontotemp­oral dementia on Oct. 7, 2019, at The Bay of Burlington Health and Rehabilita­tion Center, Burlington, Wis. He was born July 27, 1959, in Tachikawa, Japan, to Gary L. Eller and Kay (Bates) Eller Tittel.

He was a 1977 graduate of Hays High School and worked in the field of civil constructi­on and design.

He was preceded in death by grandparen­ts, Kenneth and Lola Bates and Ross and Gladys Eller; and stepfather, Ralph Tittel.

Survivors include wife, Heidi of DeKalb, Ill.; son, Matthew Aaryn Eller (Melissa) of Emporia, Kan.; father, Gary Eller (Lela) of Hays, Kan.; mother, Kay Tittel of Pea Ridge; sister, Lori Bieker (Robert) of Hays; stepsister­s, Micki Kuhlmann of Smith Center, Kan., Marla Copper (Jeff) of Hays, Fern Hess (Gary) of McPherson, Kan., Lana Girrens (Tim) of Wichita, Kan., and Jana Methany (Frank) of Kansas City, Kan.; and stepbrothe­r, Mike Moore (Pam) of Springtown, Texas.

Memorial and interment will take place at a later date.
