Minnie ‘Wilda’ Price
Minnie ‘Wilda’ Price, 91, of Lowell, passed away Dec. 3, 2019. She was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Oaks, N.D., to James Robert Taylor and Lula May Rash Taylor.
Soon after her birth her family moved back to Macedonia, Iowa, where she grew up and attended school. Wilda was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she served in the Nursery,
Jr. Department and the kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her loving husband of 59 years, George H. Price; two daughters, Charlotte Meints and Valorie Price; two granddaughters, Tessa and Autumn; five sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include four daughters, Georgia Bridges (Bobby), Judy Thornhill, Janet Kennedy (John) and Norma Klingman; a sonin-law, Alvin Meints; nine grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in Rollins Funeral Home.
The funeral service was at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
Interment followed in Rogers Cemetery.

J.W. Reece
J.W. Reece, 81, of Pea Ridge, formerly of Osceola, died Dec. 4, 2019, in Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
He was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Itawamba County, Miss., to Victor Cecil Reece and Annie Laura Farrow Reece.
He married Linda Wallace of Brownsville, Tenn., on Jan. 24, 1961. He played football at Arkansas State University and later was the sports announcer for KOSE Radio in Osceola. He was very active in local civic and sports organizations around the Osceola area. He loved golf, hunting, fishing and most of all watching his sons play sports while they were growing up.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Osceola.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Shelby Warhurst and Gleniece Easley.
Survivors are his wife, Linda Reece of the home; two sons, Jerry Reece of Pea Ridge, and Greg Reece and wife Kim of Osceola; a brother, Larry Reece and wife Virginia of Port Neches, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Monday, Dec. 9, in First Baptist Church in Osceola with Pastor Jay Weever officiating.
