Joyce Geraldine Neil

Joyce Geraldine Neil, 96, of Lowell, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, in Innisfree Nursing Home in Rogers with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 6, 1924, in Berryville to William L. and Minnie Lee Brawley Miller.

She was a life resident of the area and was a member of First Baptist Church in Lowell. Geraldine was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to serving her family and others. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, housekeeping, and, most of all, spending time with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Neil; parents; sisters, Hazel Burr, Pauline Jones, Alma Chaney and Wanda Autrey; and brother, Chester Miller.

Survivors are son Eugene Neil and wife Chris of Lowell; daughters, Joyce Pendergrass and husband Bill of Lowell, Loretta Hartgrave of Lowell and Shirley Marchant and husband Ronnie of Springdale; sister Helen Boone of Rogers; grandchildren Jeff Neil of Pea Ridge, Alicia White of Bentonville and Cindy Hicks of Springdale; four great-grandchildren; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Visitation was from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in First Baptist Church in Lowell.

A celebration of her life was at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, with the Rev. Ben Rowell and Pastor Johnny Harp officiating.

Interment was in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
