Kellie Jo Yarber Chasely

Kellie Jo Yarber Chasely, 27, of Lowell, died June 4, 2020, in her home. She was born on Dec. 19, 1992, in Rogers, to James Yarber and Tammy Sutherland.

Kellie loved her fur babies — two cats, Gunther and Alfalfa, and her dog, Dexter. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephew, Anna, Makayla, Reigan, Kobe, Khloe and Paityn.

She always had a smile and a huge laugh and loved to make people laugh. Kellie had a huge caring heart.

Survivors include her father, James Yarber of Clifty; her mother, Tammy Sutherland of Pea Ridge; her partner of six years, Alyssa Chasely (Long); grandparen­ts, Margaret and Wayne Anderson of Pea Ridge; stepmother, Michele Yarber; grandparen­t, Vera Rodden of Clifty; siblings including, Michael and Shaylea Jones of Bella Vista, Amanda Yarber of Centerton, Kristi and Jimmy Menendez of Rogers, Mackenzie McTier and Morgan McTier of Pea Ridge; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

There is no visitation scheduled.

A memorial is planned for 10 a.m. June 20, 2020, at River of Faith at the cross outside.

Juanita Cutler

Juanita Cutler, 69, of Rogers, died June 9, 2020. She was born Oct. 10, 1950, in Western Grove, to Roy and Verna Martin Gentry.

She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Daisy Manufactur­ing. She enjoyed researchin­g family geneology, art, photograph­y, reading and spending time at the Rogers Wellness Center.

She was preceded in death by husband, Jimmy W. Cutler.

Survivors include sons, Jimmy and David Cutler, both of Rogers; and siblings, Don Gentry of Helena, Linda Gentry Dennis of Pea Ridge and Betty Hendrix of Harrison.

Graveside service was at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020, in Benton County Memorial Park.

Jason Ward DeGroff

Jason Ward DeGroff, 39, of Garfield, died June 8, 2020, in

Garfield.

He was born Dec.

10, 1980, in

Rogers to

Glen Lester DeGroff and

Alice Jean

Bartlett DeGroff.

He worked for Superior Metal in Cassville and enjoyed welding, being outdoors, riding horses, boating and fishing.

Survivors are his parents, Glenn and Alice DeGroff of Garfield; two children, Alex and Hunter; his ex-wife, Lilly; his sister, Jeanette Gustavus and husband Michael of Garfield; a niece and nephew, Katie Rose and Michael Bruce Gustavus; and friends, Erin Vigil and Charlye Pitts.

There was no visitation scheduled.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, in Bayless Cemetery.

Pansy Pearl Gastineau

Pansy Pearl Gastineau, 85, of Springdale, died on June 12,

2020, in

NWMC Bentonvill­e, from covid

19. She was born on April

18, 1935, in

Bear Hollow, Mo., to Johnnie Wesley and Edna Jewel (Petty) Bolain.

The Bolains operated a grocery and station near the Arkansas/Missouri line until they moved to Wichita, Kan.

Pansy married Allan Franklin Gastineau in March 1953 and they had a daughter Brenda Kaye in December 1953. Later they moved to Tulsa and were blessed with another daughter, Glenda Faye (Gwen) in September 1955. After moving to Pea Ridge, the union produced a son, Jimmie Wayne in December 1969.

In Wichita, Pansy was a meat wrapper at Teaton’s IGA. When they moved to Pea Ridge in 1963, Pansy opened and operated the old Taylor’s Café downtown. A few years later she went to work as a press operator at Daisy Manufactur­ing in Rogers. Through the years she worked two or three jobs at the same time to make ends meet, working as a waitress at the Elks Lodge and Rogers Truck Stop. Pansy enjoyed doing seasonal work at the Pea Ridge canning factory. She and Allan also operated a hog farm and ran cattle. They participat­ed in the activities of the Pea Ridge Riding Club.

On Aug. 6, 1973, Allan died at the age of 40, leaving Pansy a widow at the age of 38. In December that same year, she met William E. (Bill) Meuser and they were together for almost 47 years, until he died on June 9, 2020. Pansy eventually stopped working at Daisy Manufactur­ing and she and Bill worked together in the bulldozer parts business, Meuser Material and Equipment in Springdale.

Pansy was the organizer and founder of Beta Alpha Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority in Pea Ridge. She was a Life Active Member of E.S.A., having held all chapter offices and Arkansas State Offices within the organizati­on. She was a certified Bob Ross and Dorothy Dent oil painting instructor and taught out of her studio in Springdale. She also served several years as chairman of the Salvation Army Doll Project and hosted the annual Doll Tea in Fayettevil­le. She gathered food and clothing for those less fortunate her entire life. She took pride in helping other people improve their lives. At the age of 83, Pansy embroidere­d a wall hanging for her new great-grandson Benny’s room. Pansy enjoyed playing slot machines and rarely passed up a chance to go to the casino.

She was preceded in death by William E. (Bill) Meuser of the home; parents, Johnnie and Edna Bolain; husband, Allan Franklin Gastineau; brothers, Jim Bolain, Ralph Bolain, Herb Bolain, Eddie Bolain and Donnie Bolain; sister, Sharon Kay Bolain Evans; brothers-in-law, Wayne Laughlin, Avaon

Gastineau, Jim Meuser and Elmer Magers; sisters-inlaw, Nedra Bolain, Florence Ella Bolain and Francene Belcher; son-in-law, Christophe­r Freitas; and Bill’s daughter, Linda Elderton.

Survivors are daughters, Brenda Williams and husband Dennis of Weatherfor­d, Okla., and Glenda (Gwen) Edmundson and husband Robert of Pea Ridge; son, Jimmie Wayne Gastineau and wife Joanna of Rogers; Bill’s daughter, Cinda Freitas of Fayettevil­le, her daughter by choice, Pat Clayton of Anderson, Mo.; grandchild­ren, Erick Wilkerson and wife Vanessa of Canon City, Colo., Kennda Miller of Oklahoma City, Okla., Blake Allan Gastineau and wife Becca of Rogers, Hayley Gastineau of Rogers, Kelly Pyle and husband Chad of Van Buren, Jason Edmundson of Fort Smith, and Chris Zander and Laurin Dragomire, both of San Diego, Calif.; great-grandchild­ren, Emma and Benicio Gastineau of Rogers, Olivia Wilkerson of Canon City, Ethan Pyle of Fort Smith, Daniel Wilkerson of Tomball, Texas, Jonathon Ray Wilkerson of Oklahoma, and Chase, Austin and Blake Sizemore of Canon City; great-great-grandchild­ren, Ava Pride Wilkerson of Pea Ridge, Shawn Xavier and Paizlee Rae Wilkerson of Claremore, Okla., and Wyatt Lonestar and Teegan Wildflower Wilkerson of Tomball; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Bolain and Diane Bolain of Wichita and Beaulah Prophet and Robbie Gastineau of Pea Ridge; and Bill’s sister, Deloris Magers of Paxton, Ill.

Celebratio­n of life memorial services will be held at a later date under direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Food Bank at The Ridge Church, 836 N. Curtis Ave., Pea Ridge, AR 72751.

Sondra Jean Pace

Sondra Jean Pace, 80, of Garfield, died in her home surrounded by her family June 15,

2020. She was born

Nov. 15, 1939 in Shubert,

Neb., to

Harry Sidney Orme and Edythe Irene Hall Orme.

She married Ernest Pace on Nov. 9, 1957, and worked in Wichita, Kan., as a animal control dispatcher. She was a avid outdoorsma­n and loved to fish, bow hunt for deer, rock climb and bowl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary and Eddie Orme; and a sister, Iva Prouse.

Survivors are her husband of 64 years, Ernest Pace of the home; a son, Tim Pace of Winchendon, Mass.; two daughters, Tammie Graham of Caldwell, Kan., and Jessica Pace of Seligman, Mo.; a brother, Gary Dale Orme of Ohio; grandchild­ren, Coty and Raven Birmingham, Jackayle and Shayla Bruno, and Thomas, Becca and Morgan Pace; and great-grandchild, Lathan Jenkins.

Visitation is set for 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, in the funeral home.

Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, in Pace Cemetery in Garfield.
