Students’ art on display at PRHS
Art from students from kindergarten through 12th grade was on display Tuesday, Feb. 13, in Pea Ridge High School. Originally slated for Monday, Feb. 12, the art show was postponed one day due to school closing because of inclement weather.
High school art teacher Noelle Littrell-Webb said of Kylie Grigg, first place winner in the Advanced Placement Studio Art division, said: “I wish I’d had her younger. I wish I’d gotten to have her as a freshman and get to work with her the entire time. Not because her work isn’t amazing, but she’s a great student to work with.”
Grigg, a senior, is the daughter of Kent and Sherese Grigg. She said her general idea was to capture the similarities between things typically perceived as ugly and as beautiful.
The first place winner for High School Art I & II was Lauren Davidson, the daughter of Brian Gunterman and Jenny Davidson. She is a junior.
