REBECCA MCALPIN

Rebecca is a photographer and Philly native who happily returned home after spending time in Denver, Michigan, and New York. She started her career at small-town newspapers. Since then, she has had the opportunity to photograph gallery owners, high-profile bankers, actors, and this issue’s “Best of Style” personalities on page 110. She has worked with publications including Popular Mechanics, The New York Times, and Worth magazine. She currently lives in Bala Cynwyd with her husband and two sons.

About the “Best of Style” shoot: “I really enjoyed seeing parts of the city that I hadn’t visited before, especially Spruce Street Harbor Park. Philadelphia is constantly changing and is not at all like the city of my youth. It’s so fun to see how the city has grown and continues to be an exciting and vibrant place. I’m thrilled to be from Philly and love being back!”
