‘Kitchen Cousins’ in Monroeville
Anthony Carrino, co-star of the HGTV show “Kitchen Cousins,” will appear at noon next Sunday as part of the Pittsburgh Indoor & Outdoor Home Show, which begins Friday and continues through next weekend at the Monroeville Convention Center.
Mr. Carrino and his cousin John Colaneri are contractors who also appear in two other HGTV series, “Cousins On Call” and “Cousins Undercover.”
The three-day show will feature 200 exhibitors, home improvement and decorating seminars, an Animal Avenue of pet products, and live animals. For the first time, 422 Homes will offer the chance to win a new home worth $300,000. The house, which has been constructed in Delmont, would be disassembled and then re-assembled at the winner’s site within a 100-mile radius of Delmont.
Hours are noon-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. next Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. next Sunday. Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and free for children age 10 and under. Information: www.pitthomeshow.com.
Door, painting workshops
The Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation will offer free workshops this month on door repair and choosing a painting contractor at the Landmarks Preservation Resource Center, 744 Rebecca Ave., Wilkinsburg (15221). Both workshops run from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Urban Garden Expo
An Urban Garden Expo will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Carnegie Library, 2205 E. Carson St., South Side.
The free event sponsored by Green N’at will feature presentations by Chicks in the Hood, PG Backyard Gardener columnist Doug Oster, Burgh Bees, Nine Mile Run, Sylvania Natives, South Side Community Council and Grow Pittsburgh.
