#SEEN Wedding: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
7:18 p.m.: During the cocktail hour guests enjoyed nibblers such as crimini feta caps and sirloin crostini while the Rosewood Quartet string ensemble played. F. Dok Harris, business partner of Ms. Wukich (who is keeping her maiden name), said he “couldn’t be happier for them!” Godard Abel, a longtime friend of Mr. Nocito’s, added “It’s wonderful. I’ve known Joe since the ninth grade. They make a great couple.” 8:36 p.m.: Dancing before dinner? Yes, please! The 13,000-square-foot tent transported guests into an enchanted forest complete with lush green ferns, white roses, creamy hydrangeas and delicate orchids. Studio E performed such hits as Pharrell’s “Happy,” which had the crowd on its feet immediately. As the bride and groom entered to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” the dance floor became the place to be. “I’ve never been happier in my whole life, I absolutely adore my wife,” said a beaming Mr. Nocito. His bride took a look around the room and gushed, “I’m the girl who never wanted a wedding, but Bill Chisnell created a fantasy for us.” Mr. Chisnell was the floral designer and stylist who worked closely with event planner Diana Rua (who called this the wedding of the year on Twitter). 9:26 p.m.: Guests tasted top-shelf liquor as well as a variety of wines with their filet mignon, jumbo lump crab with a lobster sherry cream sauce and asparagus wrapped in lemon grass, courtesy of Olde Stonewall. They sat amid the twinkling “fireflies” (thanks to LUXE Lighting & Atmospheres of Lawrenceville) settled among the flowers. The cream and gold colored linens were provided by Mosaic Linens and the rustic table settings by All Occasions. “This is unbelievably beautiful,” said Debbie Henzes (in Vera Wang) with husband, Mark. Sweet treats provided by Bella Christie & Lil’ Z’s Sweet Boutique in Aspinwall and Lawrenceville kept mouths happy while the whimsical wedding cake was only for the bride and groom’s families to share. 11:06 p.m.: Rain couldn’t stop the Zambelli fireworks from lighting up the night sky. Meanwhile guests snapped pictures in the Shutterbooth photo booths and enjoyed the Goodfellow cigar bar and slushies from the liquid nitrogen station while D.J.
