Don your best duds: Today is the first #StylishPittsburgh day!

British native Niki Whittle, a wardrobe consultant and designer, conceived the idea for the hashtag as a way to spotlight unseen style in Pittsburgh, the city she now calls home. Today, all are invited to join the celebration of Pittsburgh fashion by posting on social media a fashion-related photo (a favorite Pittsburgh-based designer, a boutique or a street style snapshot, for example) with the #StylishPittsburgh tag to help get it trending.

At 10 a.m., city Councilman Dan Gilman will recognize July 28 as Stylish Pittsburgh

Day in the city.
