Charges refiled against Bloomfield woman
The Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office refiled charges Tuesday against a woman who police said shot her boyfriend in March.
Lia Savini, 30, again faces charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment after police said she shot Trey Schafer at their Bloomfield house March 14 while they were both intoxicated.
Magisterial District Judge Randy Martini of the West End dismissed those charges against Ms. Savini in March. A criminal complaint filed Tuesday said the charges were brought after an officer conferred with an assistant district attorney in the domestic violence unit.
