Thomas Jefferson grad moves into starting lineup at Michigan
Winovich has moved into the starting lineup for the University of Michigan. Winovich, a redshirt sophomore, made the first start of his career Saturday against Central Florida and this 6-3, 245-pound defensive end finished with five tackles, including two solo. He had a sack and also forced a fumble. In two games, Winovich, who played quarterback-linebacker at Thomas Jefferson, is third on the team in tackles with 11. He has come on strong since playing only two games last season.
