Police: Man shot co-worker in Stowe


A McKees Rocks man has been arrested after police said he shot a co-worker in the leg at the Pepsi-Cola plant in Stowe.

Police said Michael Harris, 29, an employee at the facility at 400 Graham St., got into an argument with another employee about 2:45 p.m. Monday and that led to the shooting. The injury to the victim, who was not identified, was not lifethreat­ening.

Mr. Harris surrendere­d to management on-site and was taken into custody by Stowe police without incident.

Police said Mr. Harris, who was taken to the Allegheny County Jail, would be charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangerin­g another person.
