Doctor, employee face drug, fraud charges
A Penn Hills doctor and one of his employees have been indicted on charges of illegal distribution of oxycodone and amphetamines as well as health care fraud.
Brent Clark, 55, and Carl Wilson, 49, were named as defendants following an investigation by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the FBI.
The U.S. Attorney’s office said Dr. Clark distributed oxycodone 13 times from 2015 to 2017 and amphetamines three times.
The indictment also accuses him of submitting false bills to Medicare as well as to private insurance.
