Gas shortage in N. Korea

PYONGYANG, North Korea — Motorists in Pyongyang were scrambling Friday to fill up their tanks as gas stations began limiting services or closing amid concerns of a spreading shortage.

The cause of the restrictions were not immediately known, but North Korea relies heavily on China for its fuel supply, and Beijing has reportedly been tightening its sanctions aimed at getting Pyongyang to abandon its development of nuclear weapons.
