12 die in Venezuela

CARACAS, Venezuela — Twelve people were killed and six injured in violence in Caracas overnight Thursday that prompted the evacuation of more than 50 infants from a maternity hospital, authorities said Friday.

A total of 21 people have died and hundreds have been injured in the violence sparked by anti-government protests.
