Man shot in leg during Perry South robbery

A man was seriously injured in a shooting that occurred during an attempted robbery at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Perry South.

Pittsburgh police said the 58-year-old is in stable condition at Allegheny General Hospital.

Police said the shooting happened in the 2600 block of Perrysvill­e Avenue, where the man was found at the rear of a residence with a gunshot wound to his leg.
