Law

Steven J. Forry and Stuart H. Sostmann, shareholders at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, were promoted to supervisory roles in their respective practice areas. Mr. Forry was named supervisor of the Pittsburgh office's health care department, and Mr. Sostmann is the new supervisor of the office's casualty department.

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott reelected Patricia L. Dodge to serve as its managing partner. The firm has also reelected Chad I. Michaelson and W. Grant Scott to serve on the management committee for two-year terms with current members Christopher P. Smith Jr. and Robert E. Dauer Jr.

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh promoted Kevin D. Hiles to executive vice president and chief operating officer and Frank A. Cardiello to vice president of finance, treasurer and chief financial officer.

Barbara A. Scheib, director, Cohen & Grigsby PC, was appointed to the board of The Andy Warhol Museum. Ms. Scheib is chair of the firm’s commercial litigation service group.

Awards and Honors

The Pennsylvania Geriatrics Society – Western Division presented Vincent Balestrino with the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes and honors a physician who has made significant contributions to the education and training of learners in geriatrics education.

The American Institute of Architects 2017 Jury of Fellows has elevated Robert Shaw Pfaffmann, FAIA, to its College of Fellows, an honor awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the profession.

Industrial Scientific said David DiLeo, chief information officer, was named CIO of the Year by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. The awards recognize top technology executives in the greater Pittsburgh area who demonstrate exceptional leadership in IT and security. He received the award in the “Megabyte” category for companies with fewer than 1,000 employees.

Howard W. “Hoddy” Hanna III, chairman of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, was the winner of the leadership award from Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, which celebrates a member broker whose leadership skills and achievements have drawn the attention and admiration of others.
