3 injured, 3 questioned in Sheraden shooting
Three people, including a 4-year-old girl, were injured in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Sheraden, Pittsburgh police said.
The incident occurred about 3:40 p.m. in the 3200 block of Huxley Street.
City police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said the circumstances were not immediately clear.
She said the 4-year-old girl was shot in the head but was alert and talking when medics took her to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
A woman was shot multiple times and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital. A man was shot, but had only minor injuries.
All three had been stabilized at hospitals, Ms. Toler said.
Three men were in custody and were being questioned.
City police also responded early Saturday when two people in a vehicle were shot near Bennett and Tokay streets in Homewood.
A 29-year-old man shot in the back and a 28-year-old woman shot in the arm were hospitalized in stable condition.
