Six tailbacks eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark last season. Three of the top four are back, including Geneva’s Trewon Marshall (510, 175, Soph.), who led the PAC in rushing with 1,520 yards and 13 touchdowns on 238 carries. Marshall, a Quaker Valley graduate, rushed for 936 yards and six touchdowns as a freshman. Was voted honorable mention last year.

• Grove City’s Wesley Schools (5-11, 185, Jr.) has rushed for 2,169 yards over the past two seasons, including 1,266 yards and 12 touchdowns on 270 carries last season. He has been an honorable mention selection the past two years.

• Thiel’s Nick Barca (5-9, 190, Sr.), a Baldwin graduate, has started 20 consecutiv­e games. Last season, he rushed for 1,232 yards and three touchdowns on 239 carries. He accumulate­d 655 yards and scored five touchdowns as a sophomore.

Wide receivers

Grove City’s Cody Gustafson (6-2, 185, Soph.) was named PAC Freshman of the Year after an impressive debut. Gustafson caught 58 passes for 815 yards and five touchdowns.

• Case Western Reserve’s Justin Phan (5-8, 155, Sr.) recorded 124 catches and 1,445 yards over the past two seasons. Last season, he had 62 catches for 773 yards and seven touchdowns and was named second-team all-conference.

• Washington & Jefferson has two receivers to watch. Brandon Barnes (5-9, 170, Sr.) caught 50 passes for 497

Case Western Reserve has two defensive linemen who were recognized on the allconfere­nce team. Cameron Brown (6-0, 237, Sr.), a firstteam pick in 2017 and second-team pick in 2016, recorded 89 tackles, including 43 solo stops and 9.0 sacks, over the past two years. Ian Henderson (6-6, 340, Sr.) has made 18 starts over the past two seasons. He was a second-team pick last year after recording 40 tackles.

• Thiel’s Cody Wagner (60, 215, Sr.) ranked first among PAC linemen with 57 tackles, including 31 solo stops. Wagner is a Brashear graduate.

• Saint Vincent’s Izaak Gray (6-1, 245, Jr.), an Indiana graduate, registered 52 tackles, including 30 solo stops, and seven tackles for a loss.

Linebacker­s

Bethany’s Joseph Fiasco (6-0, 180, Sr.) was voted second-team all-conference last year. Fiasco, a Penn-Trafford graduate, finished with 49 solo tackles, 37 assists, 9.6 tackles for a loss, 3.0 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

• Washington & Jefferson’s Nick Getz (6-0, 200, Jr.) is back after sitting out the 2017 season with an injury.

Westminste­r’s Miguel Luis (5-9, 185, Sr.) has been recognized twice on the allconfere­nce team, first team in 2017 and honorable mention in 2016. Luis, a threeyear lettermen, has accumulate­d 106 solo tackles and 55 assists over the past three years. He had 44 solo stops and 30 assists last season.

• Geneva’s Joe Shively (60, 190, Sr.) is also a two-time PAC selection. The Central Valley grad was a secondteam pick last year after posting 50 solo tackles and 43 assists. He was also an honorable mention pick in 2016.

• Washington & Jefferson’s Zach Royba, (6-0, 190, Sr.), a Beaver graduate, has accumulate­d 71 solo tackles and 35 assists over the past two seasons.

• Case Western Reserve’s Patrick Crossey (6-1, 195, Jr.), a starter since his freshman year, was an honorable mention pick last year. Crossey, a Plum graduate, had 4 intercepti­ons, 4 breakups and 68 tackles last season.
